We can't have 4 dual contract players, we already have Brierly on loan (dual), clubs are allowed 4 players only on DC or loan or a mix of the two.

I would think we need the 3 duals and at least 2 more signings to have a squad that would see us through the season competitively

completely agree with you but if this doesn't happen then the team needs to be rotated regularly to try to keep them as fresh as possible.

Due to the size of the squad, I can see a return of "A.N.Other" ie triallist from Easts and Miners being drafted in at the last minute.

If any Club shall infringe this Operational Rule, it shall be guilty of misconduct.
C1:2:17 In addition, no Club shall enter into an agreement which would result in either it or any
other Club being in breach of Operational Rule Section C1:2:16 (even if that would be at
some time in the future). If it shall do so, it shall be guilty of misconduct.

Ryan brierley is on a duel contract,it was initially a years loan but was changed to a duel.

Whilst on the subject of ryan,at this moment in time he won't be playing on saturday,his registration papers need signing,but the man needed to do it can't be found!

Just out of interest, why do you feel the need for a personal written invitation to buy a ST, surely that was done at the FF ?

I think it does help things along though if existing season ticket holders (and match ticket purchasers if there was any sort of data capture...) were contacted with the prices for the new season rather than having to find the information out for themselves (even at the last Fans Forum, everything seemed a little sketchy in that regard).

Can you name your source of that information? I would suggest that may not be the case as he has not got a squad number at Cas, and if its Trevor that is needed he is back from holiday sometime this week.

Matt I agree, but as you know, we dont have the level of staffing to do lots of things we'd like to do, its just the ' Income loss ' bit I find confusing, do you seriously think that a ST holder from last year doesn't know whats happening, or isnt going to find out?

Ryan played for castleford on boxing day and needs to re -register with Leigh 48 hours before saturday,if Trevor is the chief exec,then yes,he is the one who needs to sign it.
It would be a shame if ryan misses the game on saturday,especially with numbers so low in the squad.

Doesn't need to be. The facilities are obviously already there to do mailshots as that has been the case with the lottery etc, and the ticketing system has the facility to take the contact details of every person that buys a ticket - what's the point in having a modern system (that in itself will be modelled completely around data capture) if it isn't going to be used properly?

Can't argue matt, but as you know with this club, we always find a reason not to make the right decisions.
