yeh your correct, the ground does look good on tv because thats whats important. I agree with mark phillips, the report mentioned wigan more than leigh. Millwards come back because he gets on the tv more over here.

He was complimentary about AT and there were a few snatches of Knowsley Rd.

The stadium did look good, although some of the footage they used was old stuff from well over a year back, before the perimeter boards were put in.

That's exactly what I said Starbug, he's taking a big risk coming to Leigh cos if it doesn't work out for him his career could be finished. He'd never get another Super League job if he can't work his magic with Leigh.
Having said that, given the circumstances, he's putting his money where his mouth is and I hope it works out for all of us.

Mish if we win the NRC and go straight back to the champion ship or win the championship (if we don't get relegated) then I fear we wont have Mr Millward for a second season. I just hope the club have him on a solid contract so that SL clubs pay a heavy price if they want him.

i hope he never looks at the message board he probably remembers Leigh fans having possitive things to say looking forward to things with hope and expectaion now allhe would see is doom and gloom. I'll tell you one thing there is only one man for the job at Leigh and thats Ian Millward and if he can't do it no one ever will.
