What I'm saying is Gray and Keys work(ed) in an environment that is inherantly sexist to start with, sexism that not only do they not hide but actually use to sell their products. Sky Sports News has eye candy on for mine and your benefit - they know men don't want some ugly sweathog munter with manky teeth and hair like sore fingers reading the football scores with her pale saggy boobs sat on the desk and the remains of some breakfast in her facial hair. But if she can read an autocue and is an almanac of all things sporting, whats the problem, is she less employable? To Sky the simple answer is yes - because she's ugly. And that is discrimination all day long in anyone's book.

Imagine a man working for a company with a bad health and safety record (and one that makes little effort to change its ways) getting sacked for breeching the same H&S rules. Who is at fault? The individual or the organisation? A Tribunal would have a field day.

difficult to disagree with any of that but I wouldn't say all the female presenters on Sky Sports are that brilliant ! Probably depends if SKY can put forward a load of witnesses stating he has been doing similar stuff for years , it matters not what Rupert Murdochs other co do as regards page 3 and the like , or even the SKY newsreaders and soccer AM , all those people agreed to take part in whatever they did

In terms of comments about the lineswomen it is relevent as the company was trying to take the moral high ground about sexism and women so looking at some of the features on some of the programmes it puts out would say it was being 'somewhat' hypocritical with those comments.

The leaked youtube footage of other non presentable TV material was 'timely' to say the least.

I suspect Grays lawyer(s) knows that and a total lack of comment from Grays team would probably underline that this whole issue will quietly dissapear with Gray turning up some years later on a radioshow or foreign tv channel a lot richer.

He will have got a good payoff as will his mate so I doubt either will take it further.
