With all Monty says which makes sense, and reading between the lines after listening to Derek's phone call where he says Cunningham is now strictly Head of Rugby - which implies he was interfering with other things. Are we safe to say, the Cunningham Effect was responsible for letting last years players go (inc. talisman Ridyard) and this years poor results?

If so, why is Cunningham still employed. Money, (is he on a stupid contract?) or lack of courage to let him go?

You could also argue Jukes could have gone upstairs with a fresh coach being supported by Jukes' experience at the club.

Jukes was 100% behind getting rid of the likes of Riddy, Hopkins etc. Not a single player left from the team that Rowley built.

Yep, not the quickest but Riddy could manage a game, took us round the park well. We have nothing like that now, no-one takes on the line to make that small gap. Drinkwater was positively backwards in never going to the game line.

In retrospect perhaps it was better that he left this week before the Fev game, I should have thought that after the display Riddy gave today he would have had a little more than boos ringing in his earhole from the Leigh faithful.

DB"s program notes were a joke. The team tried today at least but are not good enough. Certainly no pace and hardly any kicking game. Ben went off and we lacked any ideas.

If you score 30 points at home you should be winning what is wrong with our defence at the moment. I don’t see how people are surprised we got rid of jukes but he not the problem so I can’t see things changing Cunningham put this squad together and it seems they not good enough some of them we got for 2 seasons as well so unless someone going to pay them off we going to be stuck with them. So in my opinion you can only work with what you got it would be a good challenge for a experienced coach to come in and try turn this mess around there is still time but we will have to start firing soon

Maybe the new coach can play 6. With injuries to both Mortimer and now Reynolds we don't have one.
