| Must admit, I didn't expect you to fold like that after being so commanding for an hour of the game. We didn't even look like scoring then all of a sudden we looked like scoring on every attack. Michael Worrincy wants the book throwing at him by Rowley for giving away that penalty on Menzie on the last tackle, that gave us the field position to score and ultimately get the ball back for the drop goal. That's the second time Brambani has won us a game with a drop goal from the halfway line (or there abouts) with the last kick of the game, he did it against Featherstone in his first spell with us.
If you play like you did for the first hour for the rest of the season you should go well. It makes a change for us to actually be taking this competition half seriously, as you'll no doubt remember you absolutely mullered us at this stage last season and we've only ever qualified for the quarter finals once. Two wins from two games and it looks like we might do it this time.

| Not the end of the world! We have turned in 1 poor half of rugby out of the 10 halves of rugby we have played so far this season, id go for losing one to every 4 we win this season! We will still qualify, Jimmy managed to get some much needed gametime, hopkins continued his excellent form and rapid development. As well as it being the 20th of february, a long long time away from any silverware being dished out. We're lucky to even have a club, let alone a squad of this quality. I still feel that the team that finishes above us will finish top. This is a top 2 squad IMO.

| I don't think we were that good in the first half it was just Sheffield were poor. Can't believe the comments about PR. I agree with Lynda, we will bounce back.

| Yes, the fade out was alarming, but it's worth remembering that Sheffield are a good and fancied side, who will be up there at the end of the season. Once they got a run of possession, in the second half, they looked a good team and we couldn't stop them. And what a good time to get your nose in front, for the only time in the game!! Remember, we won the NRC Final, by doing exactly the same thing to 'Fax. As a 'Fax supporter pointed out, at the time, these things have a curious habit of evening out!
So, well done Sheffield, roll on Hunslet - who are top of our group at the moment. Two wins from the next two, should still see us through.

| disappointed with the result, but not too disheartened.
Early stages of the season, Sheffield are a pretty good side and Don Valley has always been a toughg place to visit.
Hopefully PR and the coaching staff will learn more today about the team and will be able to work and focus on what went wrong to prevent it happening again.
It's a long season, and frankly as long as we end up in the play offs I would be delighted. Lets not forget we murdered sheffield with 66 points at this stage last season, then look what they did to us in the play offs (again)!
I'd rather us be building to something rather than peaking early like we have done the past two seasons.

| I felt Leigh didn't really get going at all even though we were 22 up at half time ,we should have been a lot more considering the chances we had ,it seemed like the defence just melted away in the 2nd half too .It was hard to watch but i'm not asking for PRs head .

| Leigh ran out of interchanges quite early so there were no options left to change when the tide turned in the last 10-15 minutes.
Coaches must despair when players offload unnecessarily and concede penalties when all you need to do is respect possession and win the game.

My god, go back two years and that's a post from his last disasterous spell in charge of the club.
No Dick Jones, he doesn't miss tackles, spill passes etc. It's his job to coach people not to do this, it's his job to come up with a tactic that will counteract what the opposition coach does. You may as well blame a lost chess game on the pieces playing badly.
The coach is a puppet master. He is there to pull the strings. If the players don't do what they're instructed to do, then I'd want to know why, and if they WERE doing what they're told to do, then I shake my head at the endless defence of PR, 'because he's a Leigh lad'.
I'm a Leyther too, but unlike Paul I know I can't coach a rugby team.
As I've always said about PR, if he proves me wrong then I'll apologise and move on. I've no confidence that I'll ever need to apologise.

Did you give it the 'Millward Out' when we lost twice to Sheffield a couple of years back? Or York? Thought not.

| Anyone who thinks a coach at this level actually has time to teach a player to catch and pass is a pratt.
York anyone? idiots is too mild a word for anyone calling for a coach to be sacked after losing one game
And we were not relegated two years ago but why get facts get in the way of a bloody good moan.

Are you for real ?Have a word with yourself ,i was at yesterdays game and feel Paul Rowley was not a fault , we were 22 points up in the second half , and then started making stupid mistakes , we didnt have the ball for 20 minites , stopped tackling , Worrincy had a nightmare game , Beswick wasnt much better , when Mcnally went off things changed , we missed Duffy , and Rob Parker had a brainstorm throwing out a stupid pass , but get real , we lost by a point ,get off Rowleys back .
This team will do OK this season , im choked we lost Getting to Blackpool is my dream again , but calling for Paul to be blamed you should come along to the Tower , i have a red nose and outfit for you to wear .

Ryan Brierley came on at full back and scored with his first touch of the ball - again! McNally's injury was very untimely, as I suspect the coach wanted to bring Ryan on at half back, to create an impact.
By the way, looking for positives, two things Ryan did at full back really impressed me and further highlighted his talent. He took one huge swirling kick, while running back towards his own line - one of the few to deal with the high kick yesterday - and he stopped Menzie Yere in full flight, saving a certain try. And stopping that guy in full flight takes enormous courage and skill - just ask Robbie what happened when he tried it last year!

No it definately wasnt me at Full-back ,it was youing Ryan Brierley , he scored again and did nothing wrong , this lad will be a Star in the near future .
Again i feel knocking Paul Rowley is terrible , give the lad a chance , the team were applauded off the pitch at half-time , we were 18-0 up and hadnt played that well ,as i came off at full time i didnt hear anybody calling PR , i think maybe a couple on here have a grudge against the Lad , but he MUST be given a chance , GET OFF HIS BACK .

| I didn't think it would be you charlie caroli If McNally isn't fit for the weekend I'd like to see McGilvray at FB & Clay to play on Deano's wing so Brierley will enabled to give owd Duffy a breather & be where he's most dangerous. It's a good opportunity to give elephant thighs his 1st chance in a competitive game with us & Deano is a cracking tackler & good on't high ball

| Have you been supping on't acorn too glow? It's times like these when Pownall would be great to step up to 1st team rugby in his natural postion at FB but as the injurys are looking at the minute I'd go with Deano personally instead of Maden. McGilvray is quick enough to cover the width across the field better than Maden although either would do a decent job. I'm looking on the upside to this that if elephant thighs is chosen to play on sunday he can show us what he can do in a competitive match for Leigh
