Sadly has as probably already been stated, free does not a SL team get.

It has cost me £30 each to get my two grandsons their season tickets,surely thats good value.

It is good value compared to many things today, but that doesn't mean we as a family can afford the jump from free to £60.

I for one would welcome Rangi to our Club and into our team,personally I think he would make a very good signing ,I also approved of the Gareth Hock signing ,even though some didn't want him,I'm not sure if Rangi is coming or not ,but I do trust Derek B and Paul R in their judgement if he's good enough for them then I welcome Rangi.

I too welcome and support anybody who wears the Leigh shirt, although that doesn't prevent me from having reservations about some signings. However, I do admit that I was never offered the coaching job!

I'm beginning to remember why I stopped posting - and looking - on this forum a few years ago.

I thought all the posturing would've stopped for a couple of months once the season was over, but Derek's one-man fan club is continuing where others ended when the play offs finished. Arguing with trolls from other teams I can live with, but offering 5k bets makes Ste sound like Derek Mk2. Shooting down anyone who dares to question a club decision is also strikingly similar to DB and his embarrassing rants on social media.

While we have a lot to be grateful to Derek for (an understatement!), I'm not sure what Ste has done to qualify him as a better fan than others?

I know what you mean Iggy! It is always bit tiresome on here during the off season but at least at the minute it is entertaining. Usually at this stage of the year this forum consists of 4 or 5 old buggers arguing about the correct recipe for a bowl of Lobby!

Ste, the point I was making was that you go on the offensive against anyone who criticises a club decision (such as charging 20 quid for a friendly). This isn't far off Derek throwing his toys out the pram on Facebook at fans who said that the new home kit is crap

Everyone's entitled to his or her opinion. Just because we support a club doesn't mean that we have to agree with every decision the owner makes.

Derek is passionate about Leigh and saved us from going under. Unfortunately his rants sometimes cross the line and become embarrassing. The same can be said of some fans on here.

FWIW, I agree that Jagger is a tool. Keep biting and he'll keep coming back!

Did you login after your sabbatical in the hope of finding everyone in agreement that £20 to face the enemy is too expensive?

It seems to me if you support the club and row against the tide of opinion you get slagged off!

If you want a £10 friendly check out Oldham/Swinton but don't expect them to have internationals, cup winners and possibly a former man of steel running around. I'll carry on paying £20 to see the best Leigh team possible !
