| Ok that was then, this is now, what will he do if he s told hes not playing full back? Knowing Stu cant see him saying he wont full on the wing or at cente, hes not that sort of person.

What's all this about 'passing'? I don't remember us doing that, in either direction!

| Quote ="mr. chairman"reading this forum i wonder why young lads choose other clubs , some of the flack aimed at ridyard , donlon and Mort is not good , i know these lads personally and you would not find three nicer lads anywhere , they give everything for Leigh they are Leigh born and bred , brought up through the junior ranks , whenever i have asked them to help they never waver they just do it , i wonder why penky signed again for fax !! Stuart would never say he wants to play full back it is not in his make up , young Morty will continue to give his all whichever team he plays for , 5 tries says it all , Martyn ridyard is one of the most skillful players in this league and given time and encouragement will be better than any Aussie, lay off the Leigh lads'"
I really wish you would stop talking sense, it gets in the way of all the other b0ll0*$ written on here

I originally thought Donlan full back, with Mort on the wing. but I've changed my mind, and agree with you about Donlan on the wing. (and Mort full back)

| Donlan was very good for Cas at full back, the team is having a shocking year which is reflecting badly on Stuart. That and the fact that he's carrying a knock.

Everyone has there opinion, and i accept that
But...............
I would love to know why he didnt play Morty........
as a player, PR was one of the best number nines around
which i think everyone will agree with...
But as a coach.....Paul you need to learn the Basics of coaching and work your way up the ladder
as you have proved that this is a bridge to far mate
but i dont know what the answer is ......

I know you have a right to your opinion but unless you have been a fly on the wall at the club I really dont know how you can say something like that.
To put the blame in Pauls court when we were clearly playing below par rugby before he took over is wrong. Having said this and I hope I am wrong by saying that I dont think Paul is the right choice for Leigh.

| I didn't think Paul was the correct choice at the time either but i'm more than willimg to give him his time!
His first couple of games we looked like we had a couple of set moves in us and was hoping it was the start of things but since then we have gone back to carp one man rugby, question is why! is he coaching this or are the players not sticking to the game plan?

Just repying to your " where hes played most of his time in SL" statement. Well hes played more games in SL for Fax than any other team. I remember him playing most of them at Centre. Throw in a few games here and there in that position for Hudds and Cas and there you have it. Hes a centre.
Good lad as well Stu just a pity he made the wrong option this season.

| The Watcher was amazed when he found out Mort had been dropped, he could thinkm of no valid reason what so ever. Donlan was again well below par & certainly has not impressed at all this season,he was limping around for most of the match. Come on Rowley lets see some common sense when picking a team.

Agree
Paul needs to be under a more profesional coach
so he can learn his trade,
thats just what i said on my previous post, about taking the head coaching role on,
its a bridge to far, at this moment in time
