The Watcher would like to think that young Duffy will be playing against Haven. He also believes that the halfs need to follow the prop very closely & utilise his off load, he is our one forward with that skill, very reminiscent of Street. Whilst The Watcher is on about Duffy can the club get him on the same eating plan as Emmit.

One day a team will cop a right beating

What a performance by the boys, pure class RL being played and very enjoyable to watch - just how quick are some of our passes and moves.
The first half was pure gold and one of the best displays I've seen from a Leigh team in a 40 min spell (Fev & Keighley away both being good over the years for 40 mins of skill and domination).
2nd half we let our selves get drawn into niggles with Haven and the ref started to blow, our ultra slick handling wasn't helped with numerous heavy downpours (not that that stopped the lads from trying - how many times did we get pulled back for forward passes ?) and I also feel losing Riddy was a blow.
All in all this was a very good day at the office for the boys and even in a big win I'm certain PR will have some things to work on which is amazing when you look at the score.
These are enjoyable times at the LSV and for me it mirrors the early Millward years / Terzis era of feel good factor at the club (it feels like MY club nowadays again) and real entertaining RL to watch in good company.
The more this carries on the more people will start to come back as they are missing something special.

Shame we got drawn in to the niggles in the second half, but that first half was out of this world. Think how many more we'd have had when you think of how many tries we had disallowed!

Best moment of the day for me was the try by Ryan Brierley in the second half following a kick through.

I screamed at the top of my voice YESSS he touched it

and started jumping up and down like a 5 year old.

My youngest daughter who was at the side of me said Dad if he had not touched it would it still have counted.
