The pitch looked very bone dry to me the grass looked like it was parched & could of done with a good watering. I don't think summer rugby will make that much of a difference performance wise we seem to play well in muddy conditions IMO & we're a pretty slow side Brierley,Pownhall & Higson apart.

Think you have to remember regarding brierly is that when hes on for the full 80, he cant use all his energy in the first 20 mins. Just because he didnt score 3 100 metre tries doesnt mean he didnt play well. It was a very mature performance from him yesterday, he made his tackles and picked his moments in attack well, had a hand in a few of the tries. I thought doncaster were really good 1st 30 mins or so but couldnt live with us after that. Well done to ryan duffy aswell thought he was really good!

Can i just say that i enjoyed the day yesterday, most of us would have been happy for a BP but it was not to be. We are new into this league and will take us some time to get upto the pace in the Championship.
Enjoyed the chats with your fans in the Legends bar, but what put a damper on the day was a small few Leigh fans singing "ACE OF SPADES" when Dennis Tuffour had the ball near the end of the game(Mindless uneducated morons) This was reported to a steward but because our bus was leaving straight after the game we could not give a statement. I had to laugh on the way out one of the Leigh fans said to a Donny fan "whats it like to play in a stadium" i doubt he has ventured to the Keepmoat then. Good luck for the rest of the season apart from at the Keepmoat.

It will keep coming up again until the problem is tackled.

Granted that it must be difficult to do. The stewards can be asked to be on the look out for it but how can they identify the culprits? CCTV is presumably not an option and would suffer from the same problem of how to identify by name.

I hate rubbish like that. Get them named and banned. On the Riddy point. There are more times in a game where Martin has the ball with not a single runner near him and when there is we usually score. He took a high pass from Bob yesterday and wirth quick hands put SF in for his first try. Was lovely to watch. He comes to far too many dead ends with no help around him so has to die with the ball. He does make a few mistakes and yestersay may not have been his best day but he does put some good kicks and passes in during a game that go un noticed.

As stated the Donny fans should report it to the club stating where on the ground this took place and then at least the stewards in that area can be made aware and look/listen out should the incident re-occur.

Well I don't approve of racist chanting and I have never heard it at a Leigh game. What's more I would suggest if it was in the North stand then there would not have been that many doing it as I go in the North stand.

Re the RL is a family sport message broadcast at every home game it is unecessary and annoying to the vast majority of attendees who would not engage in such ignorantly stupid behaviour either at a match or anywhere else for that matter. I find it insulting quite honestly.

I was in the North stand and didn't hear it ,not saying it didn't happen just that, like Frank said can,t have been that many singing it but it needs stamping out now .

Enough of this. I have just watched the scoring highlights on Facebook with Freds new camera. Blimey they look fantastic. I think you will sell more DVDs of the games now Fred with that quality. Well done John for buying the new camera.

the highlights are in HD so obviously because HD is in a far bigger file size is drastically (9GB to 3GB) reduced to fit onto an ordinary DVD but saying that this weeks DVD looks quite good too (but I have been using a high quality DV camera for home games for years anyway - away games being a problem as I am limited to the amount of 'gear' I can carry).
So I have ordered a new dual layer DVD burner and will try putting a game on dual layer. I would love to go blu ray but the cost ATM is too high for equipment, gotta keep trying to up the service and make a few bob for the club in the process.
Don't tell the wife i'm spending more money though

It does appear that way. Did everyone hear it last time the accusations were made? Or does it mean it never happened? I heard it and have no reason to make that up as it was disgusting and very unnessacery. In fairness it was also said on 2 different occasions. One when the player had the ball and one when the team came over to applaud dons fans.

I was in the North Stand stood at the right to the Donny fans I did not hear it either only thing I could hear all match is some crackpot at the back calling the ref none stop blimey he was nuts lol

which is fair enough..Not every donny fan heard it and we were all stood together. But then i didnt hear the 'crackpot' at the back does that mean it didn't happen? I understand its not nice to hear accusations that fans were being racist buti can assure you it was heard by enough people to have been an issue.

I have previously had contact with the club due to unsuitable behaviour by one of our fans and would do so again if the need arose, but on this occasion like the others I didn’t hear anything untoward.

As advised its no good saying it on here, it’ll get you nowhere, notify the club and at least they can either act on it or try to prevent any further occurrences.
