I'd love it now if we beat Leeds, in the tie of the round - and Fred earns a fortune flogging the DVD.......and flatly refuses all requests from the broadcast media for permission to show it!!!

I'm not sure the away support will be down now, if it had been on sky there is no way they would pay to come and watch, now if they want to see the game they HAVE to come and going by their site and twitter there seems to be quite a bit of a buzz about the game ( and they are more than happy with the pricing ) also now not on sky there will defo be more of a home support turn out as its the only way they can now watch game, so with more speccies hopefully we can cover or increase on what tv money we would have received ( approx 10 grand )

Leeds always play home games on Friday. Clubs share ticket revenue equally after venue costs. I reckon Friday is the most lucrative ko time.

FWIW Sky make £150,000 on even the lowest viewed SL games (2011 Cru v Brad) so for mine it's a bizarre decision, I can't see it being lower viewed than the game I referenced or any number of others, there's more of a buzz about the cup this year. Strange decision but some of the crud you read on here is laughable.

it wont be unnattractive, its a night game, fans will be buzzing. the real reason they dont want to show it is because we'll have a good crowd on which will beat a few SL crowds. as long as we put 100% effort in and give it a go i dont care what the score is!

Iv'e been for my ticket this morning and Christine informs me that junior season ticket holders have this match included in their season ticket matches, strange that I see no mention of this in the official announcement, or maybe not so strange going by past performances

Well, I will be there Friday flight permitting, I land at Manc airport at 6.25pm so should be OK as long as no delays. Could also have made any time Saturday, but not Sunday as will be at the wendyball......

Just to add to that it shouldn't be up to Leeds to supply you with gate money, sure it's a bonus but the people of Leigh should be up for this game more than anything. It isn't Leeds' job to get bums on seats.

Absolute rubbish. You are a first class tool. Many people on this board had expectations that this game could go a long way to paying off a lump of the clubs depts. That is the sole reason I have posted the things I have. I would be really looking forward to this if I was not working and I may still have a chance to get there but will loose money. You should speak to other people on this board about my enthusiasm for this club before you put stupid post like that on here.
