,i knew Lee Doran was sounding Rihard out weeks ago , but he told me he didnt want to travel that far , i dont know what they are offering at Haven , but im shocked if we cant compete with them.

Once the new coach arrives and players are familar with his playing patterns etc they will come up for full squad training once a well and coach will go down to their training once a week with them

You have to consider that these players may have personal or family reasons that help with such moves.

Apart from SL any player in semi-pro RL would be earning monies as secondary employment.
I know it`s a short career but I`d like to have won 1 or 2 honours rather than be known as a journeyman mercenary who won 4ck all.

I actually meant in as much with regards to the travelling etc.

Maybe you have forgotten our club lost £144k last season. Haven had been in Administration and then last season paid out only 12 win bonuses.

This season our club has to recoup that shortfall whereas Haven are desperate not to go into oblivion at the end of this coming season when those clubs in Champ 1 will want to ensure a place in the Championship next season as those clubs left in Champ 1 will end up playing a good few amateur sides.

I just hope that the crazy Haven steward and the demented guy in the wheelchair have stopped attending Haven games or we might see them again season after next.

The steward was still there when I went to watch Halifax at Whitehaven this year.

Hope it helps to re-establish you guys as a Championship side. I used to moan about journeys to Whitehaven, but now we are in a league where ALL our trips will be over the M62, to the Dark Side'!

Alan i speak for Bracek , but Varks has 2 jobs , he works as a Personal Trainer , and sells Insurance for Sports Injuries , im suprised he signed for Haven , if it is true.

Mr B you know my memory is very good ,i know we made a loss last year,as for the guy in the Wheelchair , he may have found you Wheelchair Unfriendly
