Thanks everyone for following and for all your comments and messages. Next time out we will be doing unmoderated messaging so it will have more of a 'chat' feel with our updates streamed into the conversation. Its a lot of work constantly publishing comments while trying to do the commentary at the same time so this way makes more sense and will make it more interactive than just sitting there reading.

We'll see how it goes from there. Any other suggestions are more than welcome!

I normally get the updates by text but got none today. just wondering why? Not fussed because I was there but it was a great service when I missed the batley match due to work

We weren't at our best today folks. The score flattered us a bit. Think we missed Roby IMO. Adam Higgson out with shoulder injury. Nanyn had a bad first half and was moved to opposite wing but brought it round in the second. There was a lot of noise for what I would guess at 600 and was funny when both sets were singing "we hate Haven". Don't like hate chants though and hate that flute crap even more. JT and Tommy G are nothing but machines. Stu Littler has got to be one of the best signings for us because we looked a bit disjointed when AJ went off, untill we reorganised with Stu at centre. We ground out a win on a pitch that should be sorted by the RFL. On our side there was a trough of about a foot deep over 6' wide virtually half the pitch. Not like going to Haven though. The people I met were nice people. In fact there was a good atmosphere. Was nice at the end when both teams went to the same side to applaud their fans. Workies 7 thoroughly deserved his MOM. Had an excellent game and so did their full back.

Hmmmm not sure. We did things exactly as we normally do so I imagine it was something to do with Twitter. Maybe their text service was down? I'd suggest checking your settings just to make sure your still set up to receive them.

Can't believe comments of Gary Charlton on Radio Cumbria after the game, complaining about referee!! Listening to him you would have thought every Leigh pass was forward, the disallowed try was good, I can't comment as too far away but ref and TJ were in perfect position. No comment about the fact that penalty count was 9-0 to them at one point. Both he and the commentator kept saying we are full-time.

Even the report ion one of the rugby papers says we are a full time team. It seems the laughably amusing Radio Cumbrian bias has spread to the coach too, although he does have a point on some of our passes from dummy half which were just the wrong side of being a flat pass. But to have a penalty count so much in your favour and only score 2 tries to 8 should tell him he has a few problems.

I think it is a huge compliment to our lads saying they look full time. Just goes to show it is not only us Leythers who know we have a great' well coached and superbly fit side.

I'm sure i read that the club finishing top gets home advantage
