I think around Murphs time so between 69 and 71 we lost a Lancs Cup Final to Swinton 7-4.

We beat Widnes in 1970 to win the LANCS CUP @Central Park (the highlights are on the 70-71 season compilation tape I was selling a couple of years ago).

We lost a Lancs Final at Central Park V Swinton 11-2 in 69/70 and then won in 70/71 at Swinton v Saints 7-4...........I`m glad I kept my Rothsmans yearbook..

Last two years designs were good, especially last years. If he gets told no hoops theres not much he can do if the faans want hoops is there? Mind you wbk you know best. Just like you didn't believe me about a month ago when I told you the new kit was awful and you knew better.

Well I think it's great. Never mind asking the fans about the design how about the boys on the field what they want to wear.
When we wipe the floor with every team in this division and a couple of scalps in the CC then it will be worn with pride and remembered with fondness.
