I don't recall us having 14 on, but could well be wrong as there is a lot of Haven fans saying we did, but they are some of the most narrow minded fans. Maybe there was a breakdown in communication and McConnell came off but Duffy went on without permission, I dont think anyone really knows what it was for.

Think the ref was bad for both sides really, what was wrong with Nanyn's try? It was a one on one but the ref gave the penalty for ball steal, it seemed like everytime they dropped it we stole it from them. We didn't real do ourselves justice today, showed some real tough defence but lacked any real quality in attack to finish them off.

was told duffy was red carded for not handing the card to the 4th official. When duffy went off we only had 12 men on and mcconnell ran o the ref in the centre to check he could come on. So it seems very similar to tuesday ...a sub was red carded. One thing to say after my final ever visit to haven. Yes we were fortunate on that one. Maybe the video will show your allegations to be correct, or maybe they won't. Bitter... not Haven oh no I am sure our own videoman will look at the video and report back to you his findings, if he has time. Dangerous thing making false allegations

If it was before the conversion but after the try, then the try could have been nullified (Section 16, 9) and a penalty on the ten metre line should have been awarded for misconduct (Section 15 ,1(h) & Section 13, 1(a)). However he should have restarted the game with a penalty to Haven on half way due to misconduct by the player as at this point was unable to scratch the previously awarded try.

The result will stand as this is a player misconduct rule infringement within a game. Only Duffy can be sanctioned as the officials spotted the mistake.

The rules layout the fact that it's the players job to inform the official that he is about to enter the field of play and then must wait for permission to do so.

Therefore cannot be an administration breach by Leigh as a club.

I know! I kind of ignored the usual biased comments but thought there might be some substance to this one as the Match Commissioner deigned to be interviewed about it at the end. He seemed to start wishing he hadn't after the interviewer starting asking if they might get the points for the win.
