Whats the difference between Genesis and Sale? Neither team orginates from the town, one plays 10th league football, 1 is a high profile brand name of the ERU. I cant for the life of me find a negative as to why it would be a bad thing for Leigh. Maybe there are opportunities to buy a dual season ticket, will Sale rebrand? Loads of questions to be asked but other clubs with dual codes dont do too bad!!

Bit sad mate u dont know who ive seen play b4 maybe leigh not selling out is a problem with regards the club itself and marketing there home games but it seems everybody is looking at the negative rather than the possible positives

LSV needs Sale, lsv needs crowds, LRL wont get them outside SL and the door doesnt look to be open at present so RL could lose a stadium to RU.

I have played both codes. RL is worth watching RU is most definately not.

RU speccies are not going for the spectacle there isn't one. The Beeb broadcast it and everyone switches it off after 10 minutes because it is boring.

It is a players game rugby fans know that. Folk who actually go do so for one reason and that is because they are as boring as kick and clap is to watch. It is a social thing. They like to think they are "in" they are sad souls whose idea of supporting is to get absolutely hammered and pretend they know what they are talking about in the hope they will meet someone who is important.

They do not know a forward pass from a knock on. We are a country of 60 million and the best we can produce cannot beat New Zealand a country of 2 million. Why not ? Because it is a sport played by failures and watched by people who cannot function in the real world.

England RU are a terrible team to watch but the attitude of kick and clap is very much when the game was at an amateur level 10-15 years ago. Take the time to watch the best in the world in the European Heineken Cup or the Southern Hemisphere Super 15's the natural ability is much more than 'kick and clap'

It is common practice too sell season tickets in advance, this doesn't mean they cant/wont be transfered now does it?

The info i heard was it could happen as soon as the next up coming season, but as i haven't had it confirmed didn't let my mouth run off, like some of us.....

We put these up to discuss them, i was adament this was the worst thing in the world when i heard it when i was talking in the office at LSV last week, but after hearing a few Leythers say we just boycott them and the Sale fans saying they wouldn't be able to make it to Leigh. Maybe it's not the worst thing in the world. That's me correcting myself mate, maybe it's time you swallowed your pride and listen to other people instead of ranting and making yourself look like an aggressive idiot.

No, what i was saying is that you said they ARE moving in, i said, that you know more than the LSV staff do as nothing has been confirmed yet.

The LSV needs too make money to stay open and yes Sale have been down twice, but nothing is set yet.
I believe they want too nominate the LSV as a second home ground for the European Cup, but again i can not confirm this, so wont.

I stand corrected if they don't, i've also been on the VT saying to Salford fans that after what other people have been saying that LSV doesn't seem to be a viable option for Sale and maybe they should watch out, if i'm wrong I admit it but i'm only saying what I have been told.

If Sale moved in then who do you think will be the apple of LSV's eye when they will be getting crowds 3-4 times the size of Leigh RL? Take it from somebody who knows first hand, being low down in the LSV pecking order isn't a nice place to be.

That is the root of the problem, Sale would be good for the LSV only and if they present an attractive case then it will be a done deal.

Weren't Genesis were part of the original set-up? Didn't they bring some funding to the table? I believe there's been some doubts over whether that funding has actually be used but nevertheless it was part of the plan that made things happen.

The £500,000 was brought to the table, but the Football Foundation didn't allow it to be handed over until we were given a 10 year tenancy agreement. It never happened, and the money has now been reclaimed by the FF.

Thought something like that had happened, the point I was trying to make is they (Genesis) IMO have more rights than Sale or Rovers etc as without their input along with all the other original partners it may never have happened, it was sold to all and sundry as a 'community complex.'
