exactly if thats the reflection of their support when winning the season thats not great really god knows wot it would be if they we're at the bottom. Our folling could of been better but we played rubbish for alot of the season but our following next season will be good. Its a fresh start, a new era & exciting times roll on next season

I agree not a massive difference in the average over the seasons gates, but it still equates to 3000 more through the gates this year with the revenue it brings. And its a massive increase on the 1400 average of the year before.

) and get good gates, Fax are a club like yourselves with a recent history of playing at a higher standard etc. Yet their average was 30 more than ours. Only Widnes had a significant amount more than the rest of us.

Not sure flukey is the way I would describe winning the league, Grand Final and being NRC cup finalists. Will have to see if its a one off tho as its a very competitive league. We've only lost a couple of last years players and signed a couple with apparently more to come so we will hopefully be there or there abouts.

The salary cap crack is getting old by the way. We do have the full amount to spend it should be noted and the RFL appear to be quite happy with our accounts so not sure what the issue is.

The difference is potential. Your team drew 22503 for League games and us 19843. To be fair our last few games were rather intense for us ever presents but early doors the RL we had to endure was not the best. Add to that when we played Widnes they brought their smallest away following in quite some seasons. Wether the Millward factor will impact will be down to the way our side play and not just our results.

League position. I'd have thought that people would have learned from last season that games aren't played on paper, and there are at least 4-5 other sides with a reasonable claim of being one of the top sides.

true but I don't think one club would be shocked at Leigh being in the top four. Let people underestimate us but we will be fine next season I'm positive (not deluded) that we will not be in the bottom Four. We was one point off being seventh last season but yet played poor so when we put our mind to it we can do well the last game of the season is a great example of that

Widnes go on head counts and while most of them have two heads it obvious they will have a better crowd

Always makes me laugh when people say let everyone underestimate us and we will show em type comments. Dosnt matter what us fans think it's what the players do on the pitch that counts.

How on earth do you work that out? Fax only have a squad of around 19 players and saying Sheffield are stronger than us is laughable. A large number of clubs havent finished recruiting yet including us who will add another 4+ to the squad.

Can't see Sheff and Fev breaking any pot's TBH, would expect them to be in the mix with us and Widnes for a top 4 finish.
Wouldn't big yourselves up too much as you were caught out a lot towards the end of last season - your coach may find he is out of his depth.

bigging ourselves up? The question is who do you think will finish in the top four. Not a rocket scientist by any long stretch but bright enough to know we will finish in the top four. With the quality we have I'd be dissapointed not to finish in the top two. As for Leigh I don't think you will be in the bottom four but also know your not as good as any of the four teams I've mentioned. Sheffield will be dark horses this season with a stronger team than last year and the leagues best scrum half leading them round the pitch. As for widnes looks like they are hanging their hat on players who won't even be available to play for them every week.

I agree - but i wouldnt worry about Fax - we wont have the same blip next year - Calland will be a wiser and better coach next year. Id be more worried about Cullen and where your team will end up under him next year.

Top two?

That is a bold statement, you were a good team last year but a lot of clubs have recruited well. You may have recruited some ex superleague players but they aint exactly spring chickens are they? Please don't cite how they went last season as they are now a year older and have been released by they're previous clubs, why do you think that was?. You are also retaining Larder who is mid 30's. Add to that the fact that you have a 17 which tries to accomodate 2 specialist fullbacks and 3 hookers and I reckon you will win nothing again.

I reckon Widnes' sqaud is pretty much up there with anyones in this league prior to any dual reg players coming in.

Not sure what Leigh's performance will be next year, squad looks ok but not one capable of challenging for top honours. Clubs has stated no more big signings so will be up to Millward to work his magic with what you have.

And seeing as people are making predictions, I reckon Barrow will win the lot next year, maybe even CC aswell.

We managed to go alright last year without a recognised stand off - that has been addressed. So we are going to be stronger than last year - Stanley and Azue will do the business.

I think Barrow will avoid going down next year.

King cull has already masterminded a semi final beating and a stobarts hammering of Halipoo. Calland is not experienced enough to mix it with Cullen and Millward.
