well I've been going to Post office rd for 40 yrs this year. Ireckon I'm not far out when guessing the crowd. Almost all of us suggested there was over 3.5k in attendance. Added to that the packed lounge (that we didn't know about) I'm reckoning we weren't far off.

Of course, very few of us will be going to the play off game... so few of us in fact I reckon they'll only be 1500 there!!!!

Could we perhaps film the game and show it live via Leigh centurions tv at the lsv save us all travelling just a thought and would Serve fev right !!!!!!

Unfortunately LCTV do not have the broadcasting rights to screen Championship games live.

The game is likely to be on telly anyway Lynda. Nowt to stop anyone watching on telly wherever they wish to do so!

Maybe to a degree but our attendances have been poor so we wouldn't be able to do it as deceitfully as Fev have done so it wouldn't make much difference to them.

When we played away at fax in 09 and were ripped off for a share of around 800 fans entrance money, I was mockingly advised thus...
"Finish top then your club has the advantage"!!

Without wishing to comment on Fev v Leigh play-off gates, what you say is very true. Play-off gates, and Challenge Cup tie gates are notoriously bad. Could it be something to do with 'all pay'? (as distinct from using season tickets?)

Are you aware that Batley lodged a formal complaint to the RFL, accusing Leigh of doing exactly the same thing during a Grand Final eliminator a few years ago?

If not ask your Steve, He was on the Leigh BOD at the time.

Actually next time you are at Batley ask their chairman Kevin Nicholas is thoughts on that day... And then stand right back.

What makes me laugh is all the money their backer is worth and they are still using volunteers to raise money for the stand including the building of it.

Rich people don't get rich by paying for things, another positive thread, meant to drum up interest for one of our biggest games of the season thus far, derailed once again by the bitter doom and gloomers amongst us.
Why are we so bothered about what Fev are doing, who cares about what happened at Batley 10 years ago, its genuinely embarrassing to read, lets just get on with supporting Leigh, at this moment we're miles behind Fev on and off the field, the league doesn't lie, wish them well and lets keep moving forwards oursleves.
