Really can't understand people moaning about those prices for a 1/4 final in the CC against the World Champions.

I'm sure if the club came out and said some sponsor has bought every single ticket just to give away to the fans, people would still moan.

It's not for me personally, I just want to pass the info on, but does anyone know where the 'online vouchers' can be found?

theres not much point in giving free tickets to schools. what we should do is give schools a newsletter with a form that parents going to the game can fill in for their childs free ticket. This we we capture data, give out the ticket without wasting 200 that dont get used.

we need to give the school an incentive, how about a competition between schools held at the LSV or on the grass at the side of the car park.

There you will see all the ticket info and the link where it says "To receive a FREE under 12’s ticket, simply complete a voucher and exchange it at the ticket office (applicable for every child accompanying a paying adult). I did feel value for money, great game however lets not kid ourselves and pretend an average team (2011) travelling 1000 miles from warm France on a cold wet friday night to the working class town that is Leigh will be the same as a fresh world champions Rhinos outfit who've travelled 50 miles accross the M62, completely different scenarios.

Secondly my point regarding the cost wasn't necessarily for this game, I think it's perfectly reasonable to charge £16 for a CC semi, however in general I think admission prices at semi pro Championship games are just too high in general to attract an average joe along for any length of time. Regardless of the full price and so forth I can watch premiership football within 40 minutes drive almost every week this year for under £18 at various grounds, i'm just not interested in soccer.

Let's also not kid ourselves that Leigh had to do without 4 DR players that night.

Junior season ticket holders are granted free admission for this round as well - they only have to pay when we reach the semi final and then the final.

It was raining because our electronic tickets got spoilt I remember that much and we had the farce of going changing them for real ones right at kick off. Farcical.
I've been able to get in Wigan athletics last 6 home games for between £12-14 off the top of my head. There may have been one I couldn't recently actually, cant remember which. Blackburn and Bolton both do cheap deals for many weeks of the season and if the right person gives you a heads up there's usually some cheaper ones going from Everton.

Catalans game was on a lovely day/evening by the way, to the extent that the Goose gathering was moved to the beer garden for the afternoon.

It may have been earlier on in the afternoon but it was the only Leigh game I attended last year so it was definately that one, for certain. The heavens opened about half an hour before kick off. It's a good surface at the LSV, no matter how wet it shouldn't churn up if there's been good weather in the week, hence not much mud. The point still stands, it's different making a 1000 mile trip from the sunshine to Leigh for a game they didn't really look up for compared to Leeds' relatively short journey accross the penines. I could be wrong and you catch them cold however i've got a feeling Leeds will hit 40 with relative ease. If it's close until after half time you can chalk it up as a good day at the office

Leeds should hit 40 past us 9 time out of 10, but as long as our lads play with pride and try their best they will get clapped off.

If we score one try when it's 40-0 it will still get the biggest celebration of the night I promise that.
