Higham is just a sticking plaster on a wound that needs stitches. Yes, his enthusiasm and spirit are a welcome return but he is only part of the answer. Neither are KP or KC the answer. The answer is a proven coach at SL/NRL level. And I am sick of hearing that Jukes got us into SL. Yes, he was the coach but it was the players, who were treated so shabbily afterwards, who got us into SL. Players like Ridyard, Brierley, McNally,Higson, Beswick, Hopkins, etc.... A monkey could have got us into SL with the team and spirit we had at the time. Jukes got us relegated and then got us into the position we now find ourselves.

Yup, plus the huge budget and influx of additional players, (one of which being Reni Maitua who has signed for Toronto this last week), and didn't Jukes also keep Rowley's systems for the most part in 2016?

No,most of my weekends off fall on away games which I attend. I've booked this Sunday off as an holiday, and will be at the Shay weekend after.

I introduced my daughter and future son in law to the game 3 years ago,who still attend when I'm unavailable.

Atomic, I'm sure you and every Leigh fan attend as many matches as you possibly can,because one fan attends more games than another doesn't make a better of more loyal fan.
Myself, I'm retired and able to attend every game ,if my Finances and health allowed it possible,for me every fan who attends every game should be regarded as a fan.
Secondly I've heard it said we as Leigh fans shouldn't expect to win every game

,why not, I expect us to win every game,at the start of the Season we were 1 - 4 on to finish top of this League it still may happen,the Bookies are seldom wrong with odds,the reasons behind their conclusions were our player recruitment, for me the Coaching and playing staff have been very disappointing,which is why the fans have reacted in the way they have, no surprise there, it's all about expectations, I'm sure Rochdale ,and Barrow, and Swinton fans don't expect their teams to win every week.I expect us to beat Fev on Sunday and will be disappointed if we don't, it's how it is.

On paper this squad should have walked this league. Riddy has a very big point to make by the despicable way he was treated by DB and NJ after playing a major role to get us into SL. I expect Riddy to beat us with one arm tied behind his back in a despicable display of stand off play.

That might just happen - but please don't applaud him!

Thermal gloves Charlie. Mittens are a lot thinner and a clapping sound may be heard coming from them. I'm not making that mistake when applauding Riddy, momentarily forgetting our once midfield general who was treated like an outcast after guiding us to SL is now a Fev player, as he crosses beneath the sticks. I'm also wearing a Leigh scarf around my mouth so my muffled cheers will be mistaken for cries of 'I changed the kick off time because I'm rich and you are poor' :O)

Looked good when he came on today, will be a big help to the team this season and a damn good decision to bring him back.

Great decision getting Mickey back and good first game back did decent minutes and led from the front. Just what we needed.

Was it 7 minutes in the first half? Probably would have been better to have him on from the start.
