Does people thinking of opening a business in Leigh, employing a dozen people need to rewrite their business plans? If they don't like rugby, or any sport or (God forbid) support another team or just don't like their windows being blocked/sellotape pulling of their paint they need to make provision for people with pitchforks trying to close them down?

Certainly not mate, and i stand by the fact i equally find it bizarre that a business in Leigh would not willingly support the only professional club in the town. Time to unite and back events etc.

People suggesting that they may not support Leigh, they might not but would you really not support an event of a club you didnt support.

Excellent idea to resurrect that locked thread! I suspect it may have been locked for a reason?

Although I would love all businesses to support Leigh Centurions, I’d not vent my concern with the likes of Clapham’s but be asking the question as to why does Birchwood Asda sell Warrington merchandise and Asda Leigh doesn’t sell ours?

I will say it again, this club needs more income so those business's financially supporting the club will take priority over those that don't when releasing my £. A poster in a window means nowt imo but on matchdays the Britannia gets my trade as they put money into the club as opposed to others nearby - my choice but I would appreciate knowing which pubs do, which pie shops do etc as that's where I will give first option to take my cash

I agree with that but a list of businesses that do support the club would a better method than announcing that ONE business doesn't.

Mo,where I can I always try to support businesses that Support the Centurions, I recently had my car supplied by Evans Halshaw because they support Leigh ,and I must admit I was well looked after by Neil Bassett and Craig ,and can really recommend this Dealership to anybody weither they are Leigh fans or not.
