| Like they said they were only proposals at this stage dotting the I's and crossing the T's will come later, iv'e sent a suggestion that instead of a percentage off game DVD's (though I may manage to sell a few more per game) they offer an exclusive 'pathway' to the game on BLIP.TV (or similiar) as the new coach (whomever he may be) may not want general access to the games as early as the day after like as of now, so BLIP.TV as it is now may well have to finish as a general audience channel and become a 'members only' one.

I think that's a great idea Fred, and for those who don't purchase Bronze, Silver or Gold Packages, they could make a small one off donation to get access to the site

| Sorry to ask if this has already been covered, but - as Walt Jnr. will be 13 in Dec, he falls outside the remit of the Junior Centurions - is there a plan in place for a membership scheme for the teenagers??

| Ive gone for the silver on the assumption that my LISA sub will be reduced by £5 pm, if not then its Bronze as any more than £30 pm will result in serious injury if her indoors finds out!
Frank tells me we owe quite a bit, We really need 150 people to take out a £1000 loan with the bank in question payable at £20 pm (approx) for 5 years to cover the debt. In return the club could give each person a free season ticket for 5 years and other benefits linked to the silver package. This woulld save the club about £14k per year in interest charges on this debt, but it does involve a 5 year personal commitment. The plus is the club would have no debt. In 5 years time the Touchdown club would probably receive a membership surge as the personal loans are repaid.

The justification was that in the past some people would have a child's ticket and they were well past 16 (I won't name and shame, but a famous poll creator may have been guilty of this in his late teens)
However if all these tickets are being distributed through schools then could this be properly monitored in High Schools? If they come via a headteacher or organiser who would authorise it from each school, it'd stop anyone from cheating the system. Maybe charge the High Schoolers a little more than the Junior Schoolers. The more people we can get in to the ground the better, and the High Schoolers are not far off the age to start giving us real money!
Having said that, I appreciate it's easy for me to assume this not knowing the organisation behind the scenes, and costs of this and of course it's probably all done by hard working volunteers - just an idea from me.
I though the stat that Alan gave, that we used to have over 800 junior members, was amazing btw

Like I said though it would depend whether the new coach would want any internet access at all, it's something that would have to be ironed out with the new guy, I will try and make it one of my priorities as and when he is in place.

All stemmed from a quid per game in '98ish which then became a £10 season ticket during Millward's first spell. I'd watched Leigh occasionally prior to that, but it was those initiatives that turned me (and most of the people who I go to games with) in to regular fans.

The slogan 'A Quid For A Kid' came up in early discussions in the group. Personally I think that could be misconstrued, in this day and age.

| When can we sign up for this then? I know the leaflets on Wednesday were only to gauge interest but the sooner the money starts to roll in the better.

| I hope that everyone gets behind the club, one way or the other, even if its just a £1 a month, if all the hardcore of us that come to the games, bought one less beer, drink, pie etc and gave that money to the club instead thats 1000 fans at £3 each x 12 games a season, its enough to pay a couple of players contracts alone .
I would have done a deal personally that included a season ticket, shirt, LISA membership, entry to the main room and after match speeches, and all the other bits too ...thats affordacble and it covers the fans needs, start paying now too and it would get money in straightaway.

| All junior concessions must be with a photo and proof of age. They should also have a seperate turnstyle so it can be policed.
Junior School concessions MUST be with an adult - with the price reflecting that eg £10/20 with an adult season ticket
High School concessions must be priced higher eg £40/50
Student (up to 21 yo) concessions at £80/90, also with photo and ID
OAP concessions at £100 with proof of age.
I would also like the club to organise a couple of foc functions for our older fans, to thank them for a lifetime of support and make them feel special for a few hours. It is often this generation introducing the grandkids to the club.

Some kids might only get 'the bug' in the early years of high school when they're allowed to go on their own etc - pricing it as twice as much as a W*gan season ticket might be pricing ourselves out of the market, Mo.

| My suggestion weeks ago was £20 per month for 10 months.
Season Ticket, member of 'Proud Leyther' club with access to main bar before and after games (subject to safety limits), invites to exclusive club functions and a 'Proud Leyther' branded polo shirt.
Who wouldn't be a 'Proud Leyther' member? Can you imagine the look on the faces of the 'know it alls/knockers' when you walk into the boozer with your 'Proud Leyther' shirt on? Especially when you ask are they not a 'Proud Leyther'?
Junior 'Proud Leythers' when purchasing with Adult, £5 a month. Concessions £16 etc

Factor in travel to DW and it will cost less. Its also easier to nip accross to the LSV on sunday as opposed to try getting a bus back from Wigan at 10/11pm on a Friday night, and a responsible parent wouldn't be letting a 12 year old do that.
Are Wigan under 16 season tickets £20/25 ?

£26 for all under 16's (within the stand behind the sticks). I know that they have the Sky money etc to allow them to offer reduced prices like that, but I think it's far too big a jump to go from £15-£20 for an 11 year old to £50 for a 12 year old when they're likely to not be completely converted by that stage.

| Hi Dave, no I haven't found out some stuff from a guy who works at the school to my work. Also having watched the Fev and Sheffield games did feel the urge to attend live rugby again. Gotta be honest though and say that I didn't necessarily mean at Leigh and did consider SL at Warrington. At the end of the day though I don't think that I could support any other club.

| Personally i don't think comparisons with SL prices are as valid as they used to be. Outside of SL is effectively becoming a different sport. Bradford got over 10000 ST holders with their 60 quid offer last season. If we offered them for that we still wouldn't get many more than 1000
