As for Tan-sad’s not to sure how good they were as prams but they made great go-carts.

Frank B came from the same part of Leigh as i did, wasnt what i call Posh, but the people were great,i can still picture Franks dad Sam stood on the doorstep in Boughey St ,HAPPY DAYS.

This is one Leyther that would never shout for the pies, as much as I hate |Leeds, I still would have them (just) over Wigan.

I just dont know why Saints couldnt have picked LEEDs though!!!

Best fire was when Joe Atherton asked the council to cut the grass on the field at the back of our houses so we could play rugby on it. When they refused for some strange reason a couple of days later there was a smell of petrol and suddenly it was on fire.



5 fire engines and a couple of jcb's later we had a nice level playing field just as Joe'd asked.

Me too, got plenty of good mates who are pies. I never want their rugby team to win unless they are playing the aussies though. Don't get the 'hate' that people go on about, how can you actually 'hate' people you don't know. Very narrow minded thinking.

First time I went to take a look at what was then the JJB (Jokers, Jesters and Buffoons) stadium I had no idea how to find it so I asked a Wigooner who was around 50 years old how to get there - he said:
