Why can't we reverse the away game at Keighley for the home one ? Surely this must be possible. Isn't it the 12th August away

That's an interesting one. At least it would free up the time we can't play, because of pitch maintenance, to give a few more possible dates to play with.

Some time midweek, in late July or early August. Don't forget, those dates have currently been a no-no, because of our pitch.

Can't see Keighley agreeing with that as they'd lose a weekend home game and have to play midweek with the associated drop in income.

Can't see why they have to around with the pitch every July, it's like a bloody bowling green.

I'd like to know which idiot at Keighley has agreed to this date change!

Keighley only agreed to play us on the 16th, providing they could move their game with York, from the 15th to the 13th. York didn't agree with that, so it's 'back to the drawing board'.

Good question. Keighley must have sounded really optimistic about getting York to change.

As regards to the "Club" they are damned if they do AND damned if they dont, so they are in a no win situation, as always. Seems Keighley said they were ok with it prematurely and therefore its not our clubs fault.

As I said why dont we play the away game at home and play the home game away, Im sure we can find a mid week date free somewhere.

, we again seem to be argueing over nothing , for me if you can make the Keighley match then attend it , if you cant then dont attend it , problem solved .

We play Fax on the 17th August, the 25th is the challenge cup, and players are away etc so that weekends out but after not playing from the 17th surely we could play it the Tues or Wed 28th or 29th August as it would still give us 3 or 4 days in between before we play Swinton on the 2nd Sept?
