Its been great learning to play Poker, I never thought I'd take to it and we always have a good night, everyone is made welcome and new people are made to feel welcome, they must be because they come back!!!!, and we help them whilst they are learning.

Lynda its suprising how many people who have never played have taken to it, i think if you have a Competetive nature you would enjoy Poker,iknow as you do ALL our players have a good night and enjoy the game,i feel a few more new faces would really set us up , but im happy at the moment.

Been in a Salford bookstore yesterday ,they are selling Teach Yourself Poker books by someone called Frank Blackburn,apparently this years best seller

I have read a lot of his work and he astonishes me how good he is.

Nice fellow too' shy 'unassuming quite handsome very modest as well. A real stocking filler for those wishing to improve their game.

As Lynda said ,it was a poor turn out last night ,considering it was the Christmas game and all the Booze as well as cash prizes, just put it down to the bad weather,still on a personal point it was good ,as i shared the First prize money with Adele,and won a few bottles of booze as well ,so it was OK for me

Frank B made an early exit ,maybe he isnt reading his Teach Yourself Poker books



, but he did leave with 3 bottles of Whiskey













so it wasnt a bad night for him.
