Based on recent events in South Wales I'm exceptionally wary of what is happening.
On the face of it a new club in South Wales is brillant news, however we have (had) one in Bridgend that for reasons (currently) unknown is moving to Wrexham, we have left some fans behind in Bridgend who are no doubt pretty damn disgusted at what has gone on, there is howver a small foundation to build on (there has been money pumped into Bridgend - why waste it).

If however the new club is in another part of South Wales and Bridgend (and its slowly expanding support for RL) has been jettisoned then I do hope its not just a small smokescreen for a series of bad decisions by the RFL to kind of say "look we're still playing RL in South Wales".
It wouldn't fool anyone - not least the Welsh who do know a thing or two about the Oval ball game.

They will be the TBC club as shown on the RFL fixtures for the Co-Op Championship then

i'd rather have Prescot Panthers back, despite what Keiron Cunningham says "the welsh DON'T love their rugby league", they do love 'kick & clap' though.

a 'second' club in our league's. Yes, SOD Bramley, let's have one in north wales (crusaders are now in super league under false pretenses) and let's let another one in, based at Bridgend (again). Wales folk do not care about Rugby League, it's no good trying to 'ram it down' their throats. This latest 'lot' have only applied for a place because they know the RFL will 'encourage' the other clubs to let them in. We have 2 clubs in London (they don't care) and now 2 clubs in Wales (they don't care). How about 2 clubs in Leeds, no, SOD Bramley.

If the new club intends on fighting for its own right, then thats fair enough, and im not sure why anyone should have a problem.
it will get a lot more support off me than the Nomads ever had/will.

If it is a genuine Welsh Team competing on a level playing field then I wish them well, it will be proper expansion rather than the much hyped Crusader disaster.
