| Don't forget that we are now at the bottom of the pile when it comes to attracting even half decent players. In the championship we could get a few SL cast offs. Now we are relegated we will be lucky to get the Championship cast offs.

I've already stated that I think Chris is our 'player of the season' by a mile. (even a 'country' one!) In my opinion, he does have a hitch that needs coaching out of him. Has anyone else noticed how he nearly always steps back INTO the 'traffic', especially off his left foot, when he receives from dummy half? What's more, he's not the only forward we have, who does that. Our forwards rarely head for the gap - it's almost as if they seek the security of early contact!
No way am I knocking Chris - who has so much talent and heart - it's just that he, and others , could be so much more effective - IMO, of course. |
