Just so everyone knows,
Helen Harvey and her Hubby Dean who run the banter page have now decided to sort out the sposnsered player on their page so anyone still interested its still on state your pledge on there .
We will still run this if theres enough, but I doubt it with them running that one. Seems a lot have already pledged their money to this, which Im cool with.

There were pledges from fans and facebook users of £1100 plus in place before the thread was derailed and subsequently deleted.

Nothing to be gained by going over old ground, onwards and upwards now I say.

I've left the banter page group, it was just too cluttered and too much being said about the same thing in different threads and my timeline was awash with tittle tattle.

That said I'm sorry the player sponsorship thing didn't work out if people were willing to back it. I can't wait for the new season, its been a good decade since I was this excited about the future of the club.
