Can only think it looked worse front on rather than side on , it was nothing though.

He did raise the arm IMO. Looked like contact was made with the hand/wrist though. Whether or not the intent was there I don't know, although it didn't look like it from the replay.

Couldnt get there tonight due to finishing work late, watched it on TV...................... mates a Batley fan and said the ref was all for Leigh - utter rubbish IMO....... reffed fair for both sides.

How good to be supporting a winning team - great performance tonight - bring on Blackpool. Talk about 2 extremes = Leigh and Cru = oh dear!

A superb performance, from a team that had been stuck on a coach for hours. As for KH, if the position had been reversed, I'm sure he would have wanted his players to go on the pitch, with at least a short warm up. Or would he have preferred half the Leigh lads to go off injured because they hadn't warmed up?

Remember our win at Batley in the NRC? He complained then that Ganson had awarded his team too many penalties, as that had disrupted their flow!

Well done to the lads, a little lapse in defence at times, which would get exploited by a free flowing fax, but overall great win under the circumstances.

After the performance we put in last night in those circumstances, I am absolutely, most definitely and with a passion, looking forward to the final.

Preparation is key - and after last nights limited preparation time and going on that performance , can only imagine the final to be an absolute blinder given full preparation time and also recovery time from any bumps and knocks . Only moan I had about last nights game were the 4 grab attempt tackles on brown when he scored Batleys last try down the wing , every Leyther in the ground must of been shouting tackle his legs !!!

In fairness he is as strong as an ox but the attempts (I think it was Armstrong and Maden? I could be wrong) maybe should have been a bit stronger. How good was Donlan's try saver in the first half? Definitely a game changer. Hill was immense first half going up the hill.

I think the delay affected Batley more than Leigh, you could see Harrison getting worked up and it probably rubbed off on the players in the changing room, which could have taken swayed their focus.
