Decent signing for this league, I'm not too sure many SL teams would have been interested to be honest given his age and his performances in NRL over the past 2seasons. Should do well in the championship though

What I don't understand is why you think he will draw the crowds in. They didn't come to watch when you destroyed all competitions last season. A few may come out of interest to watch his first couple of games. But once they have seen him, why would they keep coming back,

I think if you make SL then the your attendances will go up, but I foubt moi moi will make a huge difference

Paul needs to get a call in to the UK Forestry Commission and put in a request that he does all contact training with them - we don't want to be starting the new season with half of our excellent squad injured.

Derek's shrewd deal gives him the incentive to play for the second year on his contract and MoiMoi has backed himself to deliver - to win that second year of the deal. From what I've read on the net and seen on the video footage he is not the type of character to give anything less than his best anyway. It seems to me - he is wired that way.

His early career was not a smooth ride - especially for his opponents - he was apparently suspended for 22 weeks in his first two years but worked hard at refining his style and game and has missed only three weeks in suspensions since.

He has averaged 36 minutes and 80 metres per game this year, at the highest level - in the Aussie NRL, according to Fox Sports.

There will hopefully be other huge benefits that he can add to our full time training environment and also in terms of marketing our club and raising our profile both locally and nationally.

What a great signing and the publicity around his name will be immense, but the real damage will still come from the work put in by Spencer, Barlow, Acton, Wilkes, Emmit etc etc.
Moimoi will come onto the pitch like a matador does just to finaly put the sufferings Bulls (Bradford maybe) out of their misery, but all the hard graft will have been put in by the true warriors beforehand.

Cheers Bullseye....a sensible reaction from an opposing fan. Was 'chuffed' when we signed Robbie Paul, BUT i am absolutely amazed we have managed to sign Fuifui. Saw him play for Tonga at the LSV in the world cup, he maybe 35, but the man is an absolute Beast !

He hasn't done it in the NRL for a couple of years but should rip it up in the championship a real coup for the club regardless of his age should keep terrykelly off our site for a while slagging us off about signing overseas players

There was a rumour going round he'd signed for us I would have loved to have signed him a few years ago not so sure now but like I said it's still a real coup for the club and a statement of intent
