Toady is the expert in such matters, capitalisation, but I think we all agree refn investment but I do have a fear that any initial investment would be used to pay off overdraft PG's and I do believe that IF you want to be a Director of a sports club you must contribute financially every year to balance the books, money you don't get back. If this happened you are correct the current shareholders would still have control - AT is still the majority shareholder I believe - but that could change with investment.

Any cheques handed over to the club from either organisation should be done Pre Match or at Half time.
Gives it a higher profile / exposure and ensures the crowd have a chance to thank those who have raised money (for whatever it is), its basic public relations in maximising positives.

In these desperate times wouldn't it be better to make the monthly payments direct to the club rather than to LISA? It would be better for cash flow rather than the club having to wait for another cheque, for a significant amount, to be presented.

Giving to Lisa means it guarantees playing for a couple of players contracts leaving the club less to find and unlike the touchdown club that have overheads like meals, season tickets to take out . Lisa give 100% of money paid in to the club.

The Watcher agrees 100% with Dick Jones & also feels that those having a dig at her are completely out of order & should apologise without delay. Linda does a fantastic job for LISA & therefore the club. The Watcher feels that perhaps there is a hidden agenda with Lindas knockers.

I can assure you 100% there is no issue or agenda from us whatsoever and you won't ever find the TDC being critical of LISA, the lottery, or anyone else who does their best for the club.

How can anyone do that when they raise tens of thousands for the club?? Without LISA over the years the club would probably not be here.

For the record, the TDC generates an average of just short of £180 profit per member per year. That's after everything is paid out and is enough to cover the playing contracts of 3 first team players.

The Watcher believes that Alexs Dads first post on this subject was rather aggressive towards Linda & an apology should be issued to her.

Especially if he has designs on her 'knockers'!

Alexs Dad believes we should all be pulling in the same direction and not criticising others for their efforts, however big or small they are.

Alexs Dad also, again, praises the continued efforts of LISA and Lynda in particular; without such support we would probably not have a club to support in the first place.

Alexs Dad also thinks this is a storm in a teacup which could have easily been avoided.

Having read the entire thread I only have one question.

Did LISA actually request a pitch side presentation?

I do not want to be classed as one of Lynda's knockers but I was at the meeting on Wednesday, and the chairman of LISA (Kieth?) appeared quite happy to freely hand over the £15k there and then.

We didn't in this case as we wanted the club to have the money as soon as possible. The big cheque however could have still been done, as I said, it most probably wasn't done on purpose, missing us off the the pitch presentation. Its something we will use in future to maximise the hard we all do, for our club.

Well amongst other things I am against censorship and approve of free speech' and I think' most on this board would like knockers given more exposure.

Maybe Johnny would organise a poll on this. I am confident this might bring such things out into the open.

This may even increase crowds at our games
