Apologies for bringing this back 'on topic'.

Robbie Paul has made 22 appearances for Salford this year - only Mal Alker and Luke Swain have played more games (23 each).

20 of Robbie's appearances have been off the bench but he has been spelled with Alker at hooker (as well as occasional stints at halfback) so had plenty of game time.

Have said it elsewhere on here, and still firmly believe, he will do a good jobfor you on the field next year, and an excellent job off the field.

True Robbie has played the bulk of his games from the bench this season but I cant understand how people say he is 4/5 years past it............ at the end of the day he is still playing in SL. He will be a superb signing for us at this level and has the type of experiance that we have been lacking this season, also the media exposure that we will get from a player of his calibre as well as Basil becoming coach will get us the type of good exposure that we need.

He is the type of player that we need.

Robbie Paul is going back to uni next year to do a sports science course or something I believe. You may have signed him [ivery[/i part time.

If he comes he comes it would be a great capture for us and for publlicity aswel if he comes it will really boost are aplication for superleague in 2011

Other than one stint after an op on his back (which he had apparently needed for quite a while) his fitness has never been an issue for us.

Is apparently an excellent trainer and is fantastic with our young players.

I've always rated him still plays good rugby really makes a difference when he comes off the bench so i hope he does come and like others have said he's very good in front of the camera.

God almighty, I can't believe we are debating whether or not Robbie Paul would do well for us with the dross we have been watching this season.

Mr Paul seen again yesterday at the LSV ,do you think Salford would allow him to come on loan for rest of the season or is this too late because of the deadline.
