Who did we rest?

I'm saying do you think that we are planning for the middles 8s with such a pi$$ poor performance that must affect player, coach and fans moral??

Or do you feel we are genuinely struggling performance wise ??

I dont normally slate the team club or coach but enough is enough. We look clueless every game. Its getting harder to watch. I agree that tonights result didnt matter but now is the time were we need to start getting abit of momentum. If we dont improve or shake things uo then we will be a championship team next year.

Jukes out for me is the only way to go. It seems he has taken the team no where. We have gone from a side playing freeflowing and attractive rugby to this. I agree that the style of rugby we played last year and previous wasnt the smartest game managent wise amd perhaps wouldnt have got us promoted. I feel it was our time last year and a mix between SL teams having a woeful M8s and us playing on sheer emotion got us up. This year we will be on the other end of that emotion and we will have all to lose rather than gain. It will be hard with the mentality we have got of falling apart if another team gets infront. If we get infront we drop off get beat. We need to want it more for us fans that pay money and travel all over the place to watch the boys. Its getting harder to watch.

We blame referees, other clubs, unlucky calls, injuries and we need to look at ourselves and not the uncontrolables. We need rid of jukes and get abit of change around the club. I cant even think of who we could get in as i dont think anyone is available.

Like i say i usually dont like calling the team and coaching staff as nobody goes out there to loose. But tonight was embarassing! First time ive thought about the wigan walk. I couldnt bring myself to do it but i thought about that aas bad enough

We need an experienced head coach for next season, not 3 inexperienced ones. We will be probably in the championship again next season. Big mistake in 'splashing the cash' on players, and leaving Jukes in charge.

No i just have an opinion mate and this is mine. We scraped through alit of last year and looked shoking for alot of it until it mattered and we went up after we played 7 cup finals. But comoeting in this league week in week out we have to play smarter and play to our strengths. Sorry if my opinion offended you atomic but who cares. As usual on here somebody says something negative and gets slated. Change the record pal

How can it offend me? We won 6 from 7 in the middle 8's last season and you state we didn't play smart! Get a grip lad.

An experienced head coach like B Noble or maybe a T Sheens? Or an inexperienced one like Ian Watson? Salford has surely proved that big name "experienced" coaches are not always what they are cracked up to be!

I said tonight's result was academic meaning it doesn't change the position we're in.
Yes we have our thoughts on the M8s with players coming in needing game time. Yes we need to get a settled side and quickly. Can this be achieved? I hope so.
The performance wasn't ideal by a long shot,however, I will be more than delighted to beat wire in the M8s rather than tonight. Some of the coaching decisions are baffling like some folk are saying, and I was at the Catalan game last week and wondering why Acton went off after 19 minutes and didn't come back on until the 60th minute

. We lost a lot of momentum during that time and ultimately lost the game. Some players do really need to step up big time, Let's hope they can do that come the M8s.

Scraped ? What are you on....1 defeat 1 draw in the league, the strolled it in the middle 8's !!! I'm not surprised we are in the bottom 4, but our (lack of defence) is a bit worrying. Anyway, what will be, will be.

Patterson (a forward ) at centre while no place for Hampshire or McNally (both backs )is an utter joke.We have the slowest backs in SL already so to put a forward in among them is idiotic.Also if the 3 stooges( our so called ) coaches don't want Riddy playing for us it shows how little nous they have.Could put up with shipping 30 odd points a game against the top teams but we are shipping them against teams we could play in the 8s

After calming down a little bit I thought I would put what I really thought of last night/ the season. Last night the effort was not there, the coaching staff and players can say what they like but there was no fire in belly's except from maybe 5 minutes in the 2nd half.

That team that was out there last night is good enough to stay up and is good enough to go to Warrington and get a result ( look at when they came to our place). I'm not buying this "it doesn't matter until the 8s", every game matters in rugby league especially when your fans/Derek are paying your wages.

For the first time this season I really am concerned we will go down and we deserve that at the minute. Is it too late to sack Jukes? Will Derek's loyalty potentially send us down? If last night is all we have left in the tank then we are doomed as i think the top 2/3 in the championship would have beat us last night.

Our last three defeats have come against the teams who are almost certain to be in the Middle 8's with us. Two of those defeats - against Warrington and Widnes - have been comprehensive, and embarrassing. It's worth remembering that those three games have been against teams who have been struggling all season - that's why they are in the bottom four with us.

I don't hold with the theory that we are 'saving' ourselves, or simply waiting, for the Middle 8's. A lot of this game is about confidence, and ours mysteriously evaporated in the second half at Wakefield, all those months ago. The same coaching team were in charge for those games against Saints, Warrington and Huddersfield, that we won convincingly. It's too late to change them now.

We simply have to show some form in our next two games, or I really fear the worst in the '8's', even against the four Championship sides.

I remember after the Wigan game there was a revival and we would finish in top 8 a lot of people on here are deluded and need to take the blinkers off we are just not quite good enough for the division simple as that
