No matter who the coach or the club is this happens, its rugby league life if people think it mirrors real life then its they who need a reality check, it all boils down to a player was given a job to do by his coach he failed to deliver the goods so a parting of the ways becomes inevitable, people were saying the same thing on here a couple of years ago when another stand off was overlooked by his coach.

As much as I question some of his decisions, and i have said in the past Milward out, I don't think a coach change is the right thing. There is no one to come in, I know things have taken a turn for the worst in the past 10 games, and i blame IM for this, the tactics have been wrong, but I'm not gonna call for his head yet. I'll see where we finish then decide.

Hopefully things will get back on track now the SL coach positions have been filled, i know Millward said he hadn't been approached (or words to that effect) but he never came out and said for definite that he wasn't going anywhere did he so this could have upset the dynamics of the group .

Just behind me I see. Back to Tim, it would seem based on what many are saying and what alot of us saw that he didn't give IM the options/qualities he expected

The last time I spoke to tim was a few days after we played Hunslet when I said "wot about the game on sunday" his reply was "wot happend did we lose?" didn't seem to care to much about his so called team/club.

He did look good in his few chances he played with us...........But needs must and if he`s not in IM plans then so be it.

If he's fit you would of thought he'd be trying to get a game somewhere for a contract next season (if not contracted at Leigh) a loan to a Champ one side like Swinton / Oldham wouldn't be the worst thing ever!

If he wants to play. Maybe lost interest if he can't be contacted?

It could of been for a few reasons maybe he just wants to be fit or if he's still coaching the Rangers maybe he's getting fitter so he can push the lads in pre season training. I don't want to see him with us next due to being so injury prone but for us again this season I deffinately wouldn't mind the extra cover from him.

I'm told by someone who saw Tim last weekend that the talk of Ian not being able to contact him is rubbish. Tim's take is apparently that he's been trying to get hold of Ian for about a month and he doesn't want to know so make of that what you will.

This isn't me trying to stir the pot I'm just telling what I was told. Whatever it seems that he's called it a day at least temporarily.

He's (Ian Millward) at every training session, and surely as a contracted player that is where Hartley should be?

TBH who cares, if a player doesnt want to play for Leigh so be it the world won't end because of it.
