Drawn away to Rochdale Hornets

The last time we played Rochdale away in the Challenge Cup is one of my all time favourite games so I'm happy with that one!

Not a bad draw and not too far to travel.

Would have preferred it at the LSV

Good draw we should take a lot of fans to Spotland and should be a great atmosphere.7 non SL clubs will go through to the last 16 so a good chance for 1 or 2 to get a good draw to the quarter finals.Lots of big guns going out early with some great games for the TV to pick from. I love the challenge cup.

IF we beat Rochdale, then good chance of a great draw...if we avoid Sheffield or Fev we would either play a decent SL team (or Wigan) or a very beatable Championship side.

I think that's a very good draw,five super league teams and some top championship teams going out in this round.

A home draw in the next round and stay away from the Super League clubs until the quarter finals would be my intention. Then hope we land a plum tie at home in the last 8. Don't forget the further you proceed, the more prize money you win.

That's not to say anyone will under estimate the Hornets. Remember in our last away fixture a couple of weeks ago, we were very lucky to come home with the points in some people's eyes.

A good draw for us' we should progress and our next away game is against Fax who the week before will have had a tough game against Widnes.

A 30 minute trip for me instead of 80 mins to Leigh.

Presuming the Rochdale game is a Sunday, it will be a 2pm kick off, as will all the other ties that day, so that it's a complete draw on TV straight after the Huddersfield v St Helens game.

I most certainly do not want the Cats after tonight's performance. They were excecellent.

Their pack bossed Hudds and I thought their left wing pairing plus their scrum half were outstanding.
