As we're the only club without any scheduling 'complications' in the draw, I fear we'll get the worst scheduling of the lot!

Apart from the ideal Saturday kick off, all of the other kick-offs have their drawbacks IMO. Friday being a night match meaning less Leeds fans will make the trip over and perhaps fewer Leythers will be able to attend. Sunday clashes with what's going to be a pretty big day football-wise, and despite what anyone says about priorities and loyalties, it will have an affect on attendances.

IMO the Beeb and SKY have missed a trick by not having 1 game on Friday and 3 on Saturday. Fancy having 2 games clash with the climax of the EPL. Ludicrous.

Being in Toronto, the draw was at 3.20 a.m. I decided not to get up to listen to it - my nerves would have been shredded! So only just found out about it. Could have been a bit better but could have been a lot worse - a good marketing opportunity for the club as well as a pay-out on the day so its doubly good in that sense. Would have a loved a sell-out v the Pies, but wasn't to be - at least not Catalans away!

The 3.15pm on Sunday has to be the worst, I'd say. Even Friday night would be better than that.

May get your wish I reckon. The Beeb won't want to give up the rights to the Pies Saints game, so that rules them out of Friday night. Huddersfield Town could be playing at home on Saturday lunchtime which would rule Hudds London out also. Not sure Catalans v Warrington would be held on a Friday night (nightmare for travelling support) plus there's no guarantee it will be televised any road. Leigh v Leeds Friday night it is.

Wouldn't bother me to be honest as I'd be at the Leigh game regardless, but with Utd, City, Bolton and Latics all having vital games on that day it would seriously hamper the crowd.

Wigan cannot play on sat or sunday as latics home on the sunday

but we know others have and will put big football game before Leigh games although this time this is a big leigh game as well.

But if the Beeb hold onto their rights for this game as you would expect (they get first pick of the games I believe) then Wigan will have to play the game elsewhere, like when they played at Widnes a couple of years back.

If it is to be on Sunday at least KO at 6pm to give leythers who are going to a PL game can make it.

TV dictates. If it's the Sunday it's a 3.15pm or 5.30pm kick off. No other option.

Its say a decision will be made in the next 24 hours , so we will soon find out the day and time

Pity the decision couldn't have been made around 20mins after the draw so fans could arrange days off work or plan flights / hotels in Wires case and clubs had a little more time to get sponsors interested.

Personaly I think we will be lucky to get 1000 Leeds fans coming here for a friday night game that is being shown on TV and that most people know they will win easy. Sorry for the negative post but at the moment I cant make the game if it's on a friday so Im well peed off. What we should be doing is goading the Leeds lot into coming buy saying we will be noisier then them and that it's time the underdog had it's day. The poster should have a picture of Alex and Sid nose to nose with the caption "We did it them". Then under the details of the game a picture of Riddy and Sinfield nose to nose saying, " We can do it again". Show our victory at Wembley over and over again.

Really hope you guys get a great crowd for the tie, but unfortunately most of the crowds have been pretty dreadful in the CC. Wolves v Bulls was like a spot the spectator comp.

Nearly double the 'crowd' at the Widnes v Saints tie though!

The Salford v Leeds attendance was also pitiable, so much so that they haven't even released the figures! I'm guessing it was about 2,500 (on the basis of about 1800 Leeds fans)
