we didn't NEED to win today, but yes we were poor. Some folk 'switch their computers on' to soon after a defeat. I am over it, well played Dewsbury (2nd half)

Its just a fact results like this happen at times , Fev have been beaten by Swinton this season , and finished top , York have been relegated but have beaten a couple of top teams this season , as I have said Dews ended Faxes NRC hopes this season , we played under par today , granted , but remember we have also beaten all 3 teams that finished above us this season , we can do it again .Charlie knows .

I think our lads are hurting more than me and I bloody well hope so.

Bit of a puzzle today, the crowd didn't lift the players and the players didn't ignite the crowd. This is the first time I remember a visiting player getting sin binned and not getting booed off. It was like the crowd had took their foot off the gas in their vocal support just as the players did in the on field endeavour.
Maybe both parties had the play offs in mind and as has been said already todays result made no difference whatsoever to the play offs.

Like I posted earlier I don't usually have a go at the team when they loose but today I was more annoyed at them throwing away a 22-6 lead than anything else ,I thought we deserved a better ending to the league thats all .

Whilst we are on the subject 'Of hangs your head in shame' I think the people who left without staying and applauding the lads today in the last league game of a long hard season, which saw us lift the NRC final on the back of a monumental effort and top league campaign, should really be the ones who take a long hard look at themselves.

I and my mucker Arthur stayed to show the lads our appreciation of this season's efforts, unfortunately other than a small sprinking of supporters we were almost alone in the North stand as the players came over.

Rugby League they say is a game of opinions. It is rather ironic then that my thoughts on today is that overall our fans let the players down.
