We'll miss Brierley immensely I agree Coyle needs to be recalled & with Taylor still out I'd interchange Penky with Nico & play Beswick at 13 to help Coyle out at 7.

Medial ligaments isn't that bad an injury, it's an easy operation too.

Maybe Sundays game v Keighley could be the opportunity to give Josh a run out .

I hope Beswick does,nt get moved back to 7 Bobs a great player but never a scrum half isince Ryan B has been playing at 7 the team seem to be playing a lot better I would go with Coyle or McNally at 7 with the latter being my preference

Thats a silly statement, he got injured round about the time he would have been brought on if he was starting on the bench!!!!!!!!!!!
An injury can occur at any time in a game, theres NO protection you can give to avoid it

I thought that was just Fred's personal opinion? Brierley being injured changes everything now we won't be letting go of Coyle we'd be damn right stupid to now. If Beswick plays at 7 (not my personal choice) & Nico & Penky as rotational hookers if one gets injured we're screwed with no fresh bodies IMO we'll be seeing Coyle play for us at some point before Brierley is back.

As much as I would like to see young Wardy given a chance, I do feel he is still learning his craft and just IMO this opportunity may have come just a little to soon in his development.

The lad does have bags of potential but is still only 17/18 years of age I believe and I say all this even with AJM's philosophy in mind of if you are good enough, then you are old enough.

fully agree, don't want Bob playing 7 but i think that's what PR will go for. i just hope he's learnt his lesson after the transformation of both Ridyard and the teams form since Beswick left the halves

Though he's only 17 I think he's served half his apprenticeship already , with the Miners as a 16 year old in the NCL and had a game last season in the Toulouse friendly , and in the U20's and against some U23's teams too this season and not looked out of place , so as the lad fancies a go I say lets use this chance to see how he's progressing .

As long as we have a plan B we should be alright .
