I think the squad matters more than the coach in a way. Don't care how good the coach is "you can't make custard out of cowpat".

If they want to go let em i would rather watch a team whose players have the club in their heart n soul than one with a load of im doin it for the money mentality..

Players who took the drop last year to play at Leigh will still be wanting to play here again. Looking forward to Nicholson and Hopkins getting a full season, Briscoe and Pownall to get their chance. AJ was a well paid enigma who seemed to get injured during games a lot, he's no kid anymore and has still to play a full season.

Trouble is they are good players.

Are the club giving out a positive messages to potential players?

They are ok, we keep the engine and build around it.

There are plenty players available there are some very good young players in the Sl set up who need to be given a chance to prove themselves also our youngsters need the opportunity to get game time to see if they are progressing..

Bit harsh slating the players leaving, it will be money driven, but not going for increase in wages, they're moving because they want a guaranteed paycheck for next season, if poele have a problem with that then I don't know what to say.

I didnt mean it nasty just quoted a saying, but it does feel like a kick in the teeth, after all the club have been doing trying to keep the club afloat, trying to get as much money together so as the players get as much as possible, was hoping some had been a bit more patient.
I wish them all the best though and thanks all their efforts.

Maybe if the club had sat down with the players and told them the full story, I am sure we could have kept players before they had signed for different clubs, if only they had been told what was going on and not kept in the dark. Like it's already been said, in different posts, they have homes and family's to look after. I don't think they should be classed as rats leaving a sinking ship, not after the season they treated us too!!!

When Arthur left..... I tried my best to get 1000 Lisa ,members as I knew what would happen towards the end of the season, as I was in the know of approx what monies the Chairman had been putting in.
Basically no ones fault ........
Club have tried their best for the players, everyones pulled together last few weeks ,has we all have Lisa coperate club etc.
Now I think they didn't say anything as they was hoping something/one would come in with money but no one did.
Circumstances for which the club had no control.
The players know how special our fans are, let's hope the rest left decide to stay.

, i wish we had 6-10 more like you ,i agree and hope the rest of the players get their cash sorted out and decide they have a Future with Leigh Centurions ,as fans every poster on this site would play for Leigh for nothing , some would pay for the PRIVILIGE ,but we are in a sport where money talks , it seems to me Swinton will have more players next season , than Fans



but we are Leythers , we WILL SURVIVE and prosper , you only had to listen and see the Passion in the Fans eyes at the last Fans Forum,we are NOT A SINKING SHIP , believe me , Leigh Fans wont let it happen .
