Agree with this, but I think it would have took a madman to leave St Helens for Leigh in the close season considering the financial states of both clubs.

yeah fred,he took one last week as well.my lad has started back with the seconds and they are training with the firsts.
he said he really enjoyed training under him and he had them running great lines.my son doesnt normally mention trainin but he said he knew his buiseness and was an enjoyable session.

I DOUBT PURTILL COULD DO ANY BETTER THAN THE CURRENT COACH.FINANCES FOR THE SEASON NOT BRILL,WE HAVE TO SUPPORT THE COACH AND THE PLAYERS DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.

I think the concern is how we have started to play. We do not have the pack to mix it with the best, they aren't big enough. We played expansive RL in the friendlies, we have some of the best flair players in the division in McNally, Beswick, Brierley, Ridyard and Russell yet take Fev on up the middle.
I do not expect to win every game, I do want to enjoy every game though, and Paul has the tools in his posession to play some great RL.

you seem to be avery deep thinking gentleman ,as i to feel we have some very skilled players in our squad ,size is not everything though , when the Summer months and harder grounds arrive our MOBILE pack will rise andd become a force to be reckoned with , andd PR will get hid rewards .

I still don't get what Nathan Brown gains by going to Saints apart from bigger crowds.

Huddersfield are a team he's put together and he's backed by a rich owner in top facilities.

Saints is one of the top 4 coaching positions in SL, along with Leeds, Warrington and Wigan

To be fair Hudds look to be a very good side and with respect to Saints with the times I have watched them this season they look mid table at best this season.

There's a few opportunities been offered but only for next year.
