The South Sea Islanders of which the Aussies seemed to have a large contingent of as always seems physically big and strong as you would expect.

I was eager to see how the kid Gildart went in the left centre but he was largely outshone by our other centre who like you say went well and was a big athletic built kid.

Thought our halves were poor which is worrying and our six looked more like a thirteen which seems to mirror what we've tried and failed with persistently in recent years at full international level worryingly.

Better execution and we could have pushed them far closer and even took the game and like you I enjoyed the game.

I thought our scrum half made a couple of daft passes but he was quick on his feet and I think he is a great prospect. Plays for London Broncos apparently.

Stand off did look more like a forward but he was impressive second half.

I have been asked by the LSV if I can identify an abusive male aged 60+, of slim build wearing what looked like the skin of a dead sheep and an old Leigh cap, sitting on the back row of the west stand about the 30m mark. If anyone can help me identify this person the LSV would be most appreciative as the CCTV is inconclusive

Well to be FRANK I haven't a clue who it could be.

I enjoyed last nights game , very entertaining ,and good to see a few familiar faces again , cant wait for the new season .

As his official carer (unpaid) I have to take full responsibility for his unruly behavior which will be punished by making him wash twice next year!

What a spectacle that game was it's enough to get any rugby fan salivating at the mouth at the thought of the season with some cracking tries, hard tackling, a couple of KO's & a bit of biff. I was impressed with our number 6 he had a good kicking game & had he kicked all 4 goals in the opener we would of drew the first test. It's great to see our up & coming stars battling it out on our doorstep but I feel a little more promotion (if there was any) would go along way to get the crowds these tests deserve & promote the game costing only a fiver who's gonna argue their not getting value for their money it's a absolute bargain. I noticed James Graham there maybe he's following in Fui's footsteps

I was 50:50 about going but in the end decided to rush straight from Liverpool & got there just as they'd finished the national anthems; I'm very glad I did, was a very good game. England seemed to have learnt a lot from the 1st game and were much better, passed it out in some good creative rugby.
