Can't see the point in that! He's just completed a year at Cas - which surely 'aided his development'? We need players for 2017, before we need them for 2018!! (and to ensure there is a 2018 in SL for us) A player of his calibre certainly won't help us at one of our main rivals.

I have read several rumours in the last couple of hours that Ryan has agreed a 3 year deal with the option of a further year. Neil Jukes has also come out today and said they are close to signing a young english player from another SL club

I wouldn't say jealous as such.

The lad is Wakefield born and bred, and dont know as to why, but for some reason we seemed to let him slip through our fingers.

Given the local lads that are regulars in our side now, like Jowitt and Johnstone, several more made their debuts for us in the latter stages of the season, think most Wakefield fans would have liked this player to team up with us.
