I'm in the UK for a whistle stop visit and day 1 went to the LSV yesterday and bought my Mum a season ticket. I always get my Dad his but my Mum doesn't go to all the games so just gets a ticket and then sits next to him in the West stand. Well that just won't happen next season unless she has a season ticket so it had to be done. Win for her, my Dad an the club I figure. She still won't make every game I figure but may go to more now and add to the roar.

Derek said the club could wash it's own face (with the backing of fans/bums on seats), that will only happen if Leigh people get behind it's biggest sporting club & invest in it's future either by buying a ST or going to 1 or 2 games if they are lapsed or 1st time fans.

Folk who buy a ST who probably won't be physically able to attend every game *such as your good self/my good self* are buying with their hearts & not their accountants heads. Of course there are those whose financial.circumstances dictate they can only PAYG & they are no less of a fan because of it.

Like you say Ste, what ever anyone can do for the club no matter how big or small is vital. Derek has pumped in money and passion, the coaching staff and backroom folk have steered the team and worked there hearts out, and the players have done it week in, week out through a gruelling championship season, then stepped up and handed three losses to SL clubs when it mattered. Even if all a fan can do is sing the praises of the club when ever they can, that good word will build a positive vibe that will mean others will spend just that little bit more if they can.
I've been looking at programs from 1955 with my Dad this week. It literally brought tears to my eyes to think we will be buying a 2017 Super League program together very soon.

Season ticket sales at 1500, which the club are happy with so far, the next few weeks will see the end of the renewal discounts prompting a surge but the majority have always been sold up to and after Xmas. Expecting over 3000 hopeful of more which would be double 2005. Time to support our club through the tills if you can, don't forget the interest free is still on

Should be able to achieve a season average of 6k at home if ST sales hit the heights.

I reckon probably not, 3,000 possibly, which would put us ahead of Salford & Wakey at least for average attendance.

I think we will see more tickets sold when the new signings are revealed.

Club tweeted almost 1500 sold so far.

Salford have sold just over 1000 in under two weeks....... just saying.

The challenge is if you don't get back up, remember the early 2000 crowds when 1500 was a good gate for HKR. Great to see HKR fans showing loyalty to their club though

Why include Rovers we were averaging over that 8000 average he mentioned. Still it's a different amount at every club. Some club get more commercial, merchandise revenue and some clubs have larger overheads. all relative!
