Yes you can, once a reasonable amount of time has elapsed. You can not be on the sick indefinitely.

It is also a question of how long the employer is indeed happy to keep someone who is on the sick and is not plying their trade. Either in their current employment or elsewhere.

For me it doesn't matter,we won't see either Beswick or Barlow in a Leigh shirt again,end of story.
