| Tonga imo was a poor buy, he was injury prone at cats, and he's continued on. Hope he proves me wrong like hock has.

| Tonga needs a secure winger to play with..We don't have one on that side.Maurice places 3 ,no mention of Kay.Armstrong goes to ground too easy.Worthington I do rate.Higson will go looking for the ball but costs penalties with his, I didn't like the way I was tackled attitude and once thats in his head you might aswell have Charlie playing there.
Mcnally I don't see returning this season so the that leaves Smith at fullback.Rangi was in training then reported as not back in training this week.
We need a winger with pace and defensive qualities.I'd fight galore to keep Richard Whiting a true professional as a and team builder..We do really need to start off-loading problems now.And it's obvious were the problems are as they are not playing.Needs sorting now, otherwise I can see hayfever becoming a problem.

| 8 penalties in a half is far far too many. Especially on such a small pitch we are just piling pressure on ourselves.
Similar to 1st half last week but with better scrambling defence. Too many pens, nowhere near enough possession or territory and doing everything possible to make life difficult for ourselves.
For a full time team we seem to play so so dumb. When we play simple and cut out the pens we look in total control. Why does it take us 40 to 60 minutes every week to reach that point?
Better second half needed or we will get turned over. Dewsbury are a tough team on their own patch.

| Sadly all correctly given. It is not enjoyable watching Leigh at the moment. The only way dewsbury are getting out of their own half is with penalties. Jukesy why can't you see what hundreds of Leigh fans can see?

| Well the discipline didn't improve but the performance certainly did!
4 converted tries in 9 minutes as soon as we brought Higham back on in the 2nd half. Very similar to the Fax game.
Mickey Higham + Tired Defences = Try Time!!
A great win, comfortable in the end. After holding them to 1 try for 75 minutes, conceding 2 more tries in the last 5 minutes again is sloppy. Need to stay switched on until the end.
Bradford, Batley and Fev all lost so we pull away at the top of the league.
A great day of Championship rugby for the Leythers

| Today's game flol owed the same pattern as recent weeks,we went 12 nil up and then started giving daft penaltis away,we then get put on a team warning again ,and lose Hock nearly straight away yellow carded,Harrison Hanson looked very bad when he went off injured , but I asked Ando how he was and the good ews was Ando said he was OK.
We are still playing a forwards game ,the try machine that is Hopkins scored 2 and should have scored a third, Higham and Weston again had very good games, along with Ben Reynolds, I thought Acton was unlucky to get sin binned, they were noggin him all the game.
Again a win is all that matters,Hopkins my MoM closely followed by Higham , can't complain to mutch today and Batley and Bradford lost, so happy days.Charlie knows.

Yeah I agree , Dews were dishing it out and Ben Reynolds seemed to kop a lot,we don't seem to learn after the team warning gs though, Dews were provoking us at every opportunity and we reacted how they wanted, I thought Whiting had a decent game as well.

| Granted that the penalties are warranted but, that said, you could penalise every PTB for offside, and many more for interfering. I thought the referee was on the verge of losing it, for most of the game, and duly did, with the brawl. He was close enough to see what happened in that brawl, and very nearly binned the wrong Leigh player. Earlier, following our team warning, Maitua lifted a Dewsbury player and, as the ref fumbled about for the yellow, Maitua put their guy back down on his feet! Fortunately for the ref, Hock then presumably said something out of turn, so he got the yellow instead!
Possession in our games this season, is being hugely influenced by penalties, which inevitably lead to scores. (i.e. our four tries in nine minutes)

Sam Hopkins!
Absolutely tore them to shreds today did the big fella!
2 tries and broke the line several times. He is having one hell of a season.
Don't know how long his contract is but we need to get it extended, the lad is quality!

| As people have said Hopkins was excellent, also think Higson had a good game and I was very impressed by Reynolds. He was always there always trying to create something knowing he'd likely get a smack in the head after he'd passed the ball Dewsbury really seemed to have it in for him. Hope Hansen is OK, looked very bad but seems to be OK now according to twitter, hopefully won't be any lasting effects.
Agreed we need to stop conceding as many penalties but yet again we had a very poor ref, after the Hansen incident he seemed to lose the plot. Having a player in the sin bin for 3 very dubious penalties is almost comical, another ref who seemed to keep pulling us up for "high" shots cross the chest but allowed the opposition to smack our players around the head and a sin bin each side is a real pet hate of mine, can see the Dewsbury player who comes running in throwing punches, should be a red then that's it instead bottles it & sin bins one from each.

| I know there were incidents aplenty, from both teams, but could someone please explain to me exactly what Paul Sykes was trying to achieve, with his "challenge" on Liam Kay, as Liam scored - just watch him on the highlights recording!

| The offense happens in a split second just as the ball is grounded. The view is obscured by the post, but you can quite clearly see Mr Sykes leg and intent.

Absolutely no reason whatsoever, to go in feet first on someone who is touching down.

| Imo had it been malicious it would have been an 8 point try. Look where the touch judge is. Bear in mind too the Leigh fans at that end cheered the try but did not have a go at the Dewsbury player.
