That is great news. No Barlow mentioned though, not even in the list of injured players. Really hope he's just been forgotten off the list of injures. He's a great player.

Very strange regarding Platt, it's like he's disappeared from Rugby League. Not with us, no other club, and not retired. Our postman reckons he failed a drugs test a few months ago, but then again Postman Pat is a Wiggin fan !

It is strange regarding Platt, don't think it's the same as Barlow as Sam hasn't disappeared off the face of the Earth like Platt did, he's got a squad number & a sponsor. Think people are linking Platt to drugs as he disappeared around the same time as Penky, not sure anyone outside of the club knows for sure what's happened to him.

Thanks for that info, all i want are the facts. The club usually update the media and fans on injured players, however getting it about sam is well like getting blood from a stone so it seems. Lets hope he makes a quick recovery, because we need a fit barlow in our squad.

Normally Linda I would 100% agree but surely someone could have given him a lift. I would not have thought that he is laid up horizontal lying on his back all the time to aid his recovery.If he is part of the team everything should have been done to get him on the team photo.

Prior to Christmas I saw Sam regularly at DW gym in Halifax. He was training on the things that his back allowed him to do.
He always spoke fondly of Leigh and his desire to get back to full fitness WITH LEIGH.
The reason I say prior to Christmas is that I haven't been since, I have no reason the believe Sam has stopped going.
Sam is a great bloke, give him a break with all these conspiracy theories.

This issue is a keep it in house but i dont think we will see Sam play again for Leigh could be wrong so before the bullets fly lets wait and see but i see their has been no statement from Leigh not like our Chairman to set things straight

Well there has been a statement, think it was Derek Beaumont who said he didn't come to the sponsor's day squad number night thingy as he had a bad back, was waiting for an operation and had been advised by doctors to avoid traveling. Club can't constantly re-issue statements for every rumour that doesn't go away. Don't know why you want to hear it from Michael Norris.

I don't know if we'll see him play for Leigh again, I certainly hope so though.
