Talking to the mother of one of the Bradford players and she didn't seem to be aware of anything in the championship whatsoever and belittled everything championship related.

Amazing how these stories grow legs. We have people talking to Bulls hierarchy, then players mothers. Would like to think all Bulls are saying is that we think Leigh will be one of our main rivals. Suppose this doesn't sell papers though if not slightly exaggerated ?

I won't speak to her anymore then. It would be a bit rude seeing as I have watched her son develop since the age of 12/13

Am not saying you didn't speak but it seems surprising Bulls hierarchy are being so flippant and if she hasn't heard of any championship teams she is hardly the spokesperson for the bulls is she? Just saying how easy it is to interpret or read into it in a way which isn't probably how it meant to come out

I have just watched the Leeds v Leigh CC cup tie again (Thanks for the link Frank) and with the team spirit at Leigh and going full time, I firmly believe that Leigh will finish top of the pile again. These lads are only going to get better. Have Bratfort and London successfully solved their financial problems or are they going to resurface during next season? I suspect they will resurface. Seeing Tom Armstrong in the Leeds cup tie and in the Grand Final win against Fev, he oozes class and must at some stage in his career pick up SL and maybe international honours. Let's hope it's with Leigh.

I'm fairly confident about next season. Several reasons.
I'm confident Bradford, Leigh & London have an advantage by being full time over everyone else.
The top 4 should be the 3 fulltime teams + A N Other.
The head to head games between Bradford, Leigh, London will determine who finishes top.
Lowes, Harrison, Bastian have a lot of current experience about the championship and will not take anyone lightly.

And purely from Bradfords perspective. I'm confident that starting the season with 5/6 props rather than 2 props should make it easier to lay a platform. Starting with a 30man squad rather than a 20man squad should make it easier to cope with injuries. Starting on 0 points rather than -6 points should be easier to build momentum from.

The new owner has costed everything out and off the field seems to be in the best shape for a decade.

Lets go!

Lets go indeed, Cracking post Bradford Northern v Leigh RLFC, lets have an "on form " injury free season. I feel you guys are favourites for 1st spot but i feel we will be closer in terms of skill & fitness than we have been for a long long time but we are a very settled team with a great team spirit and we are on the up, but we all know just how unpredictable sport can be so yeah i can't wait .

Think there will be arrogant fans in any club but for me I think it will be a close season.

At many of the recent club events we've had 1000 turn up and have heard Marc Green say that we will be at the back in the elite... IF we operate like a business and make the right choices. Its this kind of confidence I admire, compared to the past owners who have promised the earth without any substance or honesty.

Happy to admit I don't know much about the Championship, but it would take a complete idiot to underestimate any team in the Championship, especially one like Leigh who have done so well in the league this year.

Looking forward to a season in the unknown. Certainly visiting new places and actually seeing us competitive again will beat going to Wigan and getting a drubbing.

And I seriously hope we don't get Leigh in the first round. We could really do with a bit of an easier tie... like Halifax

I'd expect Fav v Bulls Good Friday (or is it Thurs in Yorkshire).

Re us v Bulls if we want a relly good gate might be best to leave it till end of the footie season.

Well as a supporter of the Bulls, I am not being arrogant on the contrary I am hoping for competitive, close games with you guys. As for London it would be foolish to ignore their potential ... I hope the championship bring their best games, home and away for Bradford. Bring it on!!

Does anyone else miss the days of Widnes/HKR fans coming in here and telling us how they are going to batter us? I'm struggling with being a fan of a team that's getting some respect.

Nice to have an influx of opposition fans for a change. Gingdong's one man Fev invasion has never really worked out, and Fax fans are far too realistic for a wind up

You can find the odd deluded fan In any club. I'd say 99% of bulls fans are expecting a tough campaign. We're also thoroughly looking forward to the championship, visiting grounds and teams we've not visited for a long time or not at all. I'll be going to as many away games as possible next year. I think the games at Leigh, fax and Fev will attract attendances of 4k+ making for cracking atmospheres!!
