After listening to the interview with Paul today I feel sorry for who ever we play next because if I was Paul I would be telling my team to go out and prove a point to all the other teams who think we have lost our way.

We got another result and played poor for most of the game.
Players still under the weather playing didn't help but a win s a win.
Also thought the ref got a few decisions wrong and none were in our favour

I would like to thank Stu Littler for posing for the picture with my kids. The experience was slightly tainted by the idiot Rochdale fan sat behind us, who thought it necessary to swear and be aggressive throughout the match.

Let's not forget we had 4 disallowed iirc on another day would have been comfortable. A few positives, acton did well. Thought it was harsh for a yellow each for that, once acton got a yellow expected a red for their man. Thought Liam Kaye was very good and we won. Unsure why pitman got mom but I'm sure someone else can answer that. We need to go back to getting basics right. 2 weeks in a row we have been outdone on that.

We didn't seem to be capable of exerting sustained pressure on their line.

Whilst we did have 'tries' disallowed', there was one crucial one disallowed at the other end, that would have made it 28-28. Also, when Fred's highlights come up, I'm not entirely sure (from seeing it 'live') that all the 'tries' that were awarded, were legit. (e.g. didn't Thornley drop the ball, before playing it, in the p-t-b immediately prior to McNally's 'try'?

Thought we were rubbish today for long parts . we were having a lot of luck when we got it out to the wings but for some reason we went back to playing route one up the middle rugby .we will need to be a lot better for fax in two week s or we be on the wrong end of a 40 -0 .on a pulse side I am starting to like acton the man is a animal..

Like last week, our forwards got out muscled in the second half. They were getting the ball out in the tackle. We weren't. Some dreadful passing all round, but a win's a win. But come on Paul, with the squad you've got., we should be doing better.

The sun was shining and it was Mother's Day, so my decision not to go looks like a good one.

Well I enjoyed today. There was loads to shout about and it was quite an entertaining game. Our defence went to sleep for a spell but I take nothing away from Rochdale, they came to take some points home. Their fans were vocal and there was a bit of biff. Would not like to be the lad who broke Jamie Acton's nose next week. Acton was very good today and put his self about a bit. The lad who butted him should have got a red and so should the lad who tripped Kes at the end. I think we should take loads next week and I also think the score won't be so close. I hope we have more games like todays.

Looking at the attendance there were quite a few who felt the same. I suppose that's the problem with playing games on a Sunday in the summer era. Sundays are precious for families in today's hectic world, so when the sun comes out and there is an opportunity to spend quality time with the family, rugby will lose out.

think we will really have to pick our game up for fax or they will put us to the sword.

after that a bit of a let down , Bloem cained them early on for Pens , but he was losing the game in the End , should be very interesting next week

.Our tackling at times was very good we just need to be more urgent , at the end Acton and Barlow would have tackled anything moving .Credit to the Hairnets they never gave in , we scored a couple of good tries , young Ryan looks he could score at anytime , his pace is Electric , a Gut in front of me who has never seen us play before was very impressed by Ryan , he said hes tall for a Scrum Half .Still a wins a win , 3 points , would still sooner Donny had won , but that's life .After the Cup game the hard work starts , we have Fax , Fev , Dews , and the Seagulls all away , with Swinton and Donny at the LSV in between .As Freddis says all hard games and Freddie knows

when I told Mrs Caroli we were playing Rochdale today , he was doing Press-ups and drinking plenty of Water , till I told him it was net week his trip to Spotland .12 will be ok , he never lies in on Sundays .

.He will be saddled up ready .

Well I thought both teams played some good attacking rugby and apart from Mr Bloam all had good games.
Don't expect us to thrash every team every week because when we don't do it you will just be very down. How many games are we into the season? If today had been against Fax, Fev, Sheff or another top team we would all be posting how great we are. I take my hat off to Dale and to us.
