It would the most crazy stupid decision if he did go to london. He would be playing in a struggling team, miles away from his family/friends. Its a no brainer to me.

So in this instance it's just a made up rumour with no substance to it but if he comes out and comments on speculation he sets a president.

The lads a talented kid and will attract attention and it's inevitable there will be speculation and people would expect a response all the time.

Best policy all round is Not to Comment on all speculation in my opinion.

I agree Andy...it is better for the club to respond if they see fit, rather than the player.

I have to say I would be absolutely gutted if it happened. We have some mouth watering combinations all over the field with the squad that has been amassed.

London Broncos are in trouble because licenscing introduced complacency for the clubs in the top league.

It has benefited no club as I predicted from day one' so thank god it will be dustbinned.

What surprises me is the Chairmen of the top clubs ever allowed it to happen. With their background they should have known competition is as healthy for commerce as it is for a pro sport.

With this sort of leadership no doubt their next idea will be daily prayers with us all pointing in the same direction 5 times a day' well they won't be getting me to join them.


Scrapping licenscing will benefit all clubs imo.

Just to put this to bed Ryan , has responded on facebooks Leigh centurions banter page and said its not true he's very happy at the club and these rumours every six months are becoming boring !!!!

London Bronco's are in trouble because they have failed miserably in marketing themselves to the local populace's of where they have played, relying instead on sponsorship and a benefactor who was happy to pay players wages , they have tried various ' clever ' but lazy initiatives many linked to existing ST holders that have been abused

They are now trying to convince the owner of Barnet FC that they are a potential money spinner for his stadium, this is the last throw of the dice , they wont be a SL club in 12 months time

Here's hoping its scrapped at he next meeting of the SL clubs which is just 4 weeks before the start of the season, no plans for 2015 meaning that if 4/5 are to be relegated from the championship it could cause serious problems. Maybe even legally

Not ' selling ' , you mean ' closing ' the deal, usually after you have shown them the samples of what they will get for their money, the ' marketing ' aspect is what gets you in contact initially

Have to agree that "No Comment" has to be the only response from the players on this sort of thing, otherwise the 1st time a player actually says "No comment" instead of just "No" we all know there's definitely something actually going on. Besides, who actually thought that there was any chance Brierley was actually going to the constant disaster zone that is London Broncos?
