No reason why we can't take 3rd spot off Halifax, we're currently 6 points behind them, and we've got them at home. I Personally think we always have the beating of fax at lsv, so if we get 3rd spot and get fax at home that would be wonderful, but that aside we proven yesterday that we can beat any team in our league no matter where we play

Lets stay very focussed on next week and build on 4th spot as Hunslet was exceptionally unlucky to come out of Barrow with just a bonus point based on the 2nd half showing according to BBC Cumbria.
They are now fighting to avoid relegation which they are desperate to avoid (thus one of the main reasons of the DR with Leeds in the first place !), need to be very switched on next week.

Of their remaining fixtures I think the only one Fax might lose is the one at the LSV.

Without murrell they seem far more vulnerable to the odd shock defeat.

Add Mennell to that list as he will be at Fax next year. Manning wont be at Batley next year and still has a year left on his contract and pretty doubtful that KH will let the player he rates as the best second row in the league leave. Its all good fun at the moment though as theres a few Fax lads probably going to be available too, players like Patterson, Ashall, Handforth and Thackery who has already signed for Dewsbury. Finn is rumored to be coming to Fax along with a couple of Leigh players. Completely new half back pairing for Fax next season thankfully.

I also dont think that the North stand would be opened for any potential Halifax Vs Leigh playoff game. I doubt there would be the demand sadly. Our run in is quite soft as well on paper and I really only see us losing the game over at Leigh but you never know we are a funny team.
