Frank there is not much wrong with PRs team selection , we are all just replying to the OP , just a bit of tinkering is needed , im a big Riddy fan , but feel he needs more help at half back , and give young Ryan a go at Full back , maybe next week against Barrow .

He`s the future 9 for me and one who we should be building our pack around.

Josh would like to play in every game now , but let's not forget he's only just turned 17 a month or so ago and still has a lot to learn yet , but he's bulking up and coming along leaps and bounds with the diet and weight programme the club have him on and the training and advice he gets off John Duffy

But I agree with you Mo , Josh wants his chances so for now pitch him in against some of the so called weaker teams for 5 or 6 games this year .

From what I`ve seen of Josh Ward from Freds Highlights, he certainly looks a star of the future for us.
We look to have a pretty good u20 side.

Barty i dont know why , but he doesnt convince me , he can stamp his authority on a game , as Penky does , but i do think he should be given a chance .

I agree at the moment he is our future no9 because there is nobody else , as i said im prepared to give him a chance , as a bloke he is a very nice guy , ive nowt against him , its difficult with Penky and Bob in front of you .

After today's game we have 3 easier games at the LSV where young Josh could feature .... Barrow , Swinton ( away ) and Worky Town so hopefully I'd like to see Josh in the 19 man squad warming the bench and hopefully if all goes well give him half a game to make his proper Senior team debut ( he did play in the Toulouse friendly last year , but that doesn't count in my book ) if he doesn't make the team sheet It's no problem he''ll still get a run out with our impressive U20's team .

But the lad's chomping at the bit to get a 1st team game and show what he can do



He's in good hands at the Centurions under John Duffy's wing and I'm sure Paul Rowley has him on the radar

I wouldn't say barrow will be an easy game.

Nobody does, but he is probably our best 7 at the club and home games off the bench away from Dews, Batley, Fev, Sheff, Fax doesn't leave too many more.

Murphy was good enough at 16, so was Duffy, so at 17 he needs the game time.

Joe Bullock and Nicho both played for the U20's against Fev too , so the East Leeds game could give PR an opportunity to give some of our fringe players a run out .

Mcnally not in the squad, it looks like brierley could be at full back.

On TotalRugby on the topic of the Leigh game on the last post i have just seen it says they have put an official complaint in about the ref.

After watching the game three times now (Oh Derek it was something like 14mins in before Price touched the ball he made a couple of tackles and touched the ball in total 5 times gaining 1 penalty and one kick) The RFL will laugh at them if they do report the ref as most if not all penalties given appeared correct, it will do them no good whatsoever we have done it in the past and seem to get penalised a lot more in subsequent games.
